Signore benedetto,<br />
regalami qualcosa della tua ricchezza<br />
in questo mese che arricchisce tutto;<br />
in Aprile i tuoi doni sono sparsi su tutto:<br />
i monti sono ricolmi e decorati <strong>di</strong> erbe, i campi <strong>di</strong> semi,<br />
il mare <strong>di</strong> vita e la terra <strong>di</strong> frutti,<br />
le alture <strong>di</strong> luci splen<strong>di</strong>de e le profon<strong>di</strong>tà <strong>di</strong> corolle:<br />
Aprile orna la terra della sua bellezza<br />
e la festa <strong>di</strong> Aprile adorna la santa Chiesa.<br />
Signore, nella tua misericor<strong>di</strong>a<br />
ci siano dati mesi <strong>di</strong> gioia;<br />
e che anni fortunati ci siano pro<strong>di</strong>gati nella pace,<br />
Signore:<br />
Aprile e i suoi fiori, Maggio ed i suoi gigli,<br />
Giugno e i suoi fasci <strong>di</strong> spighe,<br />
Luglio ed i suoi covoni <strong>di</strong> grano,<br />
Agosto e Settembre con i loro canestri <strong>di</strong> grappoli,<br />
Ottobre, al frantoio, doni appuntamento<br />
a Novembre suo compagno,<br />
Dicembre e Gennaio per il riposo;<br />
Febbraio e Marzo per il <strong>di</strong>giuno.<br />
