is the first European record of a bird of the blackish-morph in May '97. A
scguence has been noticcd in the passage of tlrc morphs with the fox-e"d arriving
before than ùp grcy-brown {conversely to Israel). In April all the birds obsewed
use to migrate alone, instead when rhe Honey Buzzard passage start is lste April-
Man most (c.8O%) are observed in flocks of such qpccies. This may b* explaincd
by the fact that some isolared individuals can be catch up by large flocks of
Honey living the simpauic wintenng gmunds. Common Buzzard, a sedentary or
short distance migrant species, has never been observed rnired with Honey Buzzard
flocks.
