I cunei smaterozzatori della serie PROMAT, utilizzati per rompere le materozze e i
rami di colata, rappresentano oggi uno strumento essenziale per le fonderie.Realizzati
da ProService Technology e distribuiti in tutto il mondo da Clansman Dynamics Ltd,
sono costituiti da un cuneo azionato da una centrale oleodinamica. Sulla base di una
profonda esperienza maturata nel settore fonderia, i tecnici ProService hanno conce-
pito una macchina innovativa, le cui caratteristiche permettono di superare le tradizio-
nali problematiche collegate all’utilizzo degli smaterozzatori. Cura e attenzione è stata
posta nella costruzione dei componenti, più durevoli rispetto a quelli dei prodotti tradi-
zionali. Sia il cilindro che lo stelo sono ricavati da un unico pezzo, per conferire alla
macchina la robustezza necessaria per lavorare a pressioni superiori ai 300 bar.
Pur essendo stata progettata per sopportare carichi gravosi per tempi prolungati, un joy-
stick le conferisce grande manovrabilità e semplicità nei movimenti. L’estrema manegge-
volezza, necessaria per aumentare la produttività e ridurre lo sforzo dell’operatore, è
garantita dalla posizione dei due assi di rotazione sul baricentro dello smaterozzatore e
dalla presenza di un cuscinetto a sfera. Il design simmetrico, inoltre, permette anche agli
operatori mancini di lavorare con semplicità.
The PROMAT hydraulic foundry wedges, realized to break risers and casting bran-
ches, represent today an essential tool for foundries. Manufactured by ProService
Technology and distributed all over the world by Clansman Dynamics Ltd, they consist
of a wedge which is moved by a hydraulic power pack.
On the ground of their deep experience in the foundry field, our engineers have con-
ceived an innovative machine, with features which allow to overcome the traditional
problems bound up with the use of hydraulic wedges.
The parts, realized with care and attention, are more lasting than the ones of the tra-
ditional wedges. Both the cylinder and the ram are manufactured from a single piece
of material, to provide the machine with the strength needed to operate at higher than
300 bar pressures.Even if the wedge has been conceived to bear heavy loads for long
time, a joystick gives it great handiness and facility in the movements.
The ease of handling derives from the position of the two rotation axis on the centre of
gravity of the hydraulic wedge and from the presence of a ball bearing, which allows to
rotate the wedge in every direction, reducing strain on the operator and increasing the
productivity.

Lo smaterozzatore PROMAT può ruotare
in tutte le direzioni senza alcuno sforzo da
parte dell’operatore. Infatti la posizione dei

smaterozzatore e la presenza di un cusci-
netto a sfera permettono all’operatore di
eseguire operazioni anche con una mano
sola, lasciando libera l’altra per posiziona-
re eventuali pezzi da rompere.

handed operations, giving the operator
the possibility of using the other hand to
place the risers to be broken.
