It is my gre<strong>at</strong> pleasure to welcome you to the 25th annual Honors<br />
Convoc<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>at</strong> The <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Texas</strong> <strong>at</strong> <strong>El</strong> <strong>Paso</strong>.<br />
Held each spring, Honors Convoc<strong>at</strong>ion is one <strong>of</strong> the very special events<br />
on the <strong>University</strong> calendar. This is our opportunity to recognize the<br />
outstanding academic achievements <strong>of</strong> UTEP’s most accomplished<br />
students. On this occasion we also honor faculty and staff for their<br />
exceptional performance, with the present<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>of</strong> Distinguished<br />
Achievement Awards for Research, Teaching and Service, and recognition<br />
<strong>of</strong> newly appointed pr<strong>of</strong>essors emeriti.<br />
Honors Convoc<strong>at</strong>ion is a proud tradition <strong>at</strong> UTEP. Thank you for joining<br />
