Copies of digital images are accepted by the HPS Photo Library on condition
that the HPS can lend copies to its members, publish them in its newsletters
and journals and use them in displays / promotions. The photographer and the
HPS Photo Library will both be acknowledged. The copyright is retained by
the photographer.
The HPS Photo Library will lend the images, on a memory stick, to any of its
members requesting them. They are for the member's personal use and may be
shown at talks, provided that the HPS Photo Library is acknowledged. As soon
as possible after the talk they must be removed from the member's computer
and the memory stick returned to the HPS Photo Library. They or copies of
them may not be given to other persons, copied to other persons’ computers,
altered in any way or be published without the consent of the HPS Photo
Library.
Donations of digital images (with plant identified) are always welcome! With only a
few exceptions all the digital images in the Library have been donated by HPS
members; if you borrow from the Library you might also be able to give to the
Library.
