BASI TEORICHE DI TRIBOLOGIA Usura a plasticità-dominante • La deformazione plastica è un meccanismo che può causare un’usura grave in molti casi • Spesso è difficile riconoscerla ma l’esame della superficie consumata e l’analisi della rottura aiuta nell’identificazione • L’esempio mostra la deformazione plastica di una asperità e il successivo distacco di un grano d’usura: la deformazione di piani successivi (e.g., piano AC) avviene insieme alla propagazione di una cricca (AD), fino al completo distacco del grano
