The new frontiers of melanoma research are
the instrumental diagnosis of pigmented lesions,
immuno and molecular therapy and the
implementation of translational research. This
conference is dedicated to clinicians and basic
researchers who will come together to discuss
new topics and results that will be presented
during the various sessions.
This event is planned as a research meeting,
with a panel of invited chairpersons who will
comment upon the oral presentation of abstracts
previously selected by the scientific board and a
rapporteur of each session who will have the
opportunity of drawing up a conclusive analysis
of the session. Prizes will be offered for the best
presentations.

Second Announcement
Following the previous three events held in
1997, 2000 and 2003, we have chosen to keep this
format slightly different from other conferences as
we wish to promote the discussion of the most
recent proposals related to melanoma research.
Those abstracts not selected for oral presentation
will have the opportunity to be presented on a
poster format and will be discussed with a
chairperson of the specific topic during a
dedicated session.

The Fourth Research meeting on melanoma is
characterized by oral presentations of selected abstracts.
All abstracts accepted will be presented as oral or poster
Authors wishing to present an Abstract must send a file
before April 10 th 2007.
The authors will be notified within April 25 th by the
Organizing Secretariat if their scientific contribution has
been selected to be orally discussed in Plenary Session or
to be submitted only as poster.
