Barella specialistica studiata e realizzata per le necessità 

specifiche ospedaliere del reparto terapia intensiva e pronto 

soccorso. L’altezza variabile facilita rapidi e agevoli 

spostamenti del paziente da una qualsiasi apparecchiatura 

diagnostica. 

Piano di coricamento a 4 sezioni in laminato plastico 

radiotrasparente, con telaio perimetrale in acciaio tubolare di 

grosso spessore, ai quattro lati profili paraurti in materiale 

plastico mordido antitraccia con maniglioni di spinta 

e bussole per inserimento accessori. 

Caratteristiche salienti sono leggerezza e bilanciamento nei 

movimenti, radio trasparenza pari al 75% della superficie del 

piano rete, semplicità e velocità nelle operazioni di pulizia. 

La barella viene fornita in due versioni con o senza movimento di 

trendelenburg. 

STRECHER ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT 4 SECTIONS 

This stretcher has been studied and realized following the 

specific need of the intensive therapy ward. The adjustable 

height make quicker and easier to move the patient from every 

diagnostic equipment. 

Lying surface divided in four sections and made of plastic 

radiotranslucent laminate, with external frame made of thick 

tubular steel, varnished with epoxy powders. 

On the four corners there are plastic and no trace bumpers, 

push handles and service holes for accessories. Important features 

are the lightness and the balancing in 

the movements, the radio-transparency of the 75 % of the sprung 

base, simplicity and speed in the operations of cleaning. 

The stretcher is furnished in two versions: with or without movement 

of trendelenburg.

Barella universale realizzata per rispondere a tutte le esigenze 

necessarie al pronto intervento e alla movimentazione in ambito 

ospedaliero. L’altezza variabile garantisce un facile spostamento 

del paziente da una qualsiasi condizione di degenza ad 

un’apparecchiatura diagnostica e viceversa. Una numerosa 

gamma di accessori in dotazione la rende adatta alle esigenze di 

pronto intervento. Caratteristiche salienti sono leggerezza e 

bilanciamento nei movimenti, radio trasparenza pari al 75% della 

superficie del piano rete, semplicità e velocità nelle operazioni di 

pulizia. La sicurezza per il paziente e per l’operatore sono 

garantite dalle sponde a scomparsa totale e ad aggancio 

semiautomatico, cinghie di sicurezza e bloccaggio 

contemporaneo delle ruote. La barella viene fornita in due 

versioni con o senza movimento di trendelenburg. 

Il piano rete può essere fornito in bilaminato radiotrasparente; 

perimetralmente la barella è dotata di paracolpi in gomma. 

STRECHER ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT 2 SECTIONS 

Universal strecher realized to answer to all the necessities of the first 

aid and of the hospital wards. The variable height guarantees an 

easy movement of the patient from the stay in hospital department 

to the diagnostic specialistic department. A wide range of accessories, 

answering to the requirements of the first aid. 

Others important features are the lightness and the balancing in 

the movements, the radio-transparency of the 75 % of the sprung 

base, simplicity and speed in the operations of cleaning. 

The safety for patient and the operator are guaranteed from the side 

rails with total disappearance and from semiautomatic hookup, 

safety straps and contemporary block of the wheels. 

The stretcher is furnished in two versions: with or without movement 

of trendelenburg. The sprung base can be made of radiotransparent 

bilaminate and with perimetrical bumpers.

Il piano di coricamento è staccato dal basamento ed è 

dotato di due ruotine lato testa che permettono il trasporto 

in autolettiga. 

Il materassino viene fornito in materiale plastico antistrappo 

elettrostampato a tenuta di liquidi. 

Le doti di resistenza e leggerezza di questa barella la 

rendono adatta ad usi intensi in qualsiasi situazione. 

Facilmente lavabile e disinfettabile con qualsiasi detergente.

Realizzata per trasporti semplici in corsia dove lo stato di 

salute del paziente non è grave. Questo articolo, pratico e 

funzionale, è caratterizzato da una struttura robusta ma allo 

stesso tempo leggera che garantisce un’ottima 

manovrabilità. È stata progettata per non richiedere alcun 

tipo di manutenzione. Viene proposta in due varianti: 

- a freno costante, due ruote sempre frenate, per sbloccarle 

e quindi muovere la barella si deve agire sul maniglione 

posto sul lato testa; 

- a freno indipendente, due ruote con freno a pedale 

indipendentemente. 

WARD STRECHER 

It is realized for simple transports and for the state of health of 

the patient that is not serious. This very practical and 

functional article is characterized from a strong structure but 

at the same time light, that guarantees a good 

maneuverability. It has been projected not to ask for particular 

type of maintenance. 

It is available in two version: 

- Constant brake: two castors always stopped; to unlock them 

amd to move the strecher it is necessary to move the handle 

on the head side of the strecher. 

- Independent brake: two castors with independent brake 

pedal. 

TRANSPORT STRECHER WITH TROLLEY 

Proper for external transports with chromed structure resistant 

to bumps and bad weather. 

The base for loading is detachable from the basement and 

it is equipped with two little castors for the transport 

by ambulance. 

The mattress is made of waterproof plastic and anti-tear 

material. 

The endowments of resistance and lightness of this stretcher 

make it proper to intense uses in any situation. 

Easily washable and disinfectable with any detergent.

The stretcher is equipped also with no trace 

wheels on balls bearing, Ø 200 mm. with 

big dimensions to allow easier and more 

comfortable movements. The brake pedal 

has three positions: directional, totally free 

and totally locked. 

The backrest and the pelvis sections are 

moved by bilateral levers with pneumatic 

spring. 

The Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg 

movements are made by a lever on the foot 

side and balanced through a pneumatic spring. 

The height is regulated by a pedal lever on the foot 

side through oil pressure pump and steel compasses. 

The basement is covered by a carter made 

of plastic material for easy cleaning with two basins 

for objects or documents. 

Blocking belts for patients are standard model.

La serie di barelle SLIM della GIVAS sono state studiate appositamente per far 

fronte alle esigenze relative al pronto intervento e alla movimentazione in ambito 

ospedaliero. La sicurezza per il paziente e per l'operatore è assicurata dalle sponde 

a scomparsa totale con movimento a compasso e cinghia di sicurezza, 

inoltre la barella viene fornita di serie con guide per cassetta porta lastre. 

Ai quattro lati sono previste le ruote paracolpi coperte da carter in ABS completi 

di quattro bussole per l'alloggio degli accessori. Il piano di coricamento della 

barella è a quattro sezioni, i settori del piano rete sono in laminato plastico 

radiotrasparente HPL sp 10 mm, la movimentazione dei piani avviene tramite 

molle a gas, la sezione schienale è azionata da monoleva situata sul lato testa, 

la sezione bacino è azionata da leve bilaterali lato piedi, mentre i movimenti 

della sezione gambale sono azionati da due cremagliere semiautomatiche. 

La regolazione dell'altezza è ottenuta con due colonne oleodinamiche azionate 

per mezzo di pedali bilaterali posti sui fianchi della barella a lato dello schienale. 

Le posizioni di Trendelenburg, Controtrendelenburg e abbassamento si ottengono 

azionando una coppia di pedali bilaterali, per il sollevamento è presente un 

pedale singolo bilaterale. Il basamento e le colonne sono protetti da un carter 

in materiale plastico termoformato, facile da pulire e dal design gradevole. 

Nel carter del basamento sono ricavate due vasche per contenere gli effetti 

personali del paziente, le cartelle cliniche e due sedi per bombole ossigeno. 

The stretchers of line SLIM have been studied and projected to answer to the 

needs connected to the first aid and the movement in the hospital wards. 

Safety for patient and operator is assured by side rails dismountable as 

compass and safety belts; in addition the stretcher is equipped with runners 

for X-ray cassette. 

On four corners there are the bumpers covered with ABS carter complete 

with holes for accessories. 

The lying surface is divided in four sections made of radio transparent 

plastic laminate thickness 10 mm; the movements of the sections are made 

through gas spring; the backrest section is moved through a single lever on 

head side; the pelvis section is moved through levers on both side at foot 

part. Instead the leg section is moved through two semiautomatics cranks. 

The adjustable height is regulated by two columns moved with oil pumps; 

the columns are activated by pedals put on both side of stretcher near the 

backrest section. The Trendelenburg, reverse Trendelenburg and lowering 

movements are activated by two bilateral pedals; instead for the lifting 

movement there is one single bilateral pedal. 

The basement and the columns are protected by a carter made of 

thermoformed plastic material, easy to clean and with a pleasant design. 

On the basement carter there are two tubs for personal effects of patient, 

for case sheets and two places for oxygen bottles.

wardrobes and back-splash 

A seconda delle necessità, GIVAS propone 

due diverse tipologie di armadi degenza: 

la prima con struttura metallica, la seconda 

con struttura in nobilitato. La versione 

a struttura metallica è realizzata con 

pannelli tamburati in lamiera di acciaio 

verniciata a polveri epossidiche con top 

superiore e fondo sempre in acciaio 

verniciato. Alla base omega di rinforzo 

e piedini in tubo di acciaio Ø 60 mm 

con terminale in PVC regolabile 3 cm. 

Pannelli laterali e divisori centrali tamburati 

in lamiera di differente spessore per 

l’applicazione degli accessori. 

Schiena divisa per vani con doppia piega 

di rinforzo, ripiani e cassetti metallici in 

acciaio verniciato con guide antisfilamento. 

La versione in legno è realizzata con 

struttura in nobilitato di colore grigio dotata 

di profilo antipolvere; la schiena è in fibra 

di legno di colore come i fianchi. 

I ripiani interni, per motivi di sicurezza, 

vengono dotati di reggipiano antisfilamento 

in acciaio inox, le aste porta con supporti in 

PVC applicati al ripiano superiore, i cassetti 

sono in multistrato con fondo in fibra di 

legno di colore bianco e sistema 

antisfilamento. 

Alla base gambe in tubo di acciaio con 

piastra metallica ancorata alla struttura e 

piedini di regolazione in PVC. 

Per entrambi le versioni le finiture delle ante 

frontali sono bilaminato spessore 9/10 con 

bordatura perimetrale in ABS 

spessore 3 mm.

Following the necessities GIVAS proposes two 

different typologies of wardrobes for patient 

care: the first one with metal structure, and 

the second one with chipboard bilaminate 

structure.The version with metal structure is 

made with double panelled parts which are 

made of epoxy powders varnished sheet steel. 

The wardrobes are composed also by upper 

top and bottom made of varnished steel. 

The base is reinforced and equipped with feet 

made of tubular steel Ø 60 mm. with final 

part made of PVC and adjustable to 3 cm. The 

lateral panels and the central partitions made 

of sheet with different thickness allow the 

accessories application. The back part is 

divided and constructed with double 

reinforced folds; the shelves and the drawers 

are made of varnished steel with 

anti- unthreading slides. 

The wood version has the structure made of 

chipboard colour grey which can be provided 

with a special profile against dust; the back 

is made of wood fibre with the same colour of 

the sides. The inner shelves, for safety reasons, 

are equipped with anti- unthreading supports 

for shelves made of stainless steel; the hanger 

for crutches are made of tubular chromed steel 

with PVC supports applied to the upper shelf; 

the drawers are made of multilayer with inner 

bottom made of wood fibre white coloured 

with steel slides. At the base legs made of 

tubular steel and adjustable feet made of PVC. 

For the doors we used bilaminate thickness 

9/10 with perimetric edge made of ABS, 

thickness 3 mm.

ARMADIO INFETTIVI 

La necessità di garantire la massima disinfezione 

anche in reparti diversi dagli infettivi 

è importante. Ridurre la possibilità di 

trasmettere malattie vuol dire ottimizzare 

e migliorare la vita del paziente ricoverato 

per lunghi periodi. Con l'armadio per 

infettivi si è pensato alla praticità di disinfezione 

mediante un carrello dotato di 

vaschette racchiusi in un contenitore 

senza fondo. Il contenitore è fissato a 

muro con piastre di fissaggio superiori e 

un telaio metallico inferiore di sostegno 

sollevato da terra.

from infective division, is important. 

Reduce the possibility to transferred diseases 

means to optmize and get better 

patient life's that has to stay there for 

long periods. With wardrobe for infectives 

we have thought to the practice disinfections 

with a trolley provided of trays, little 

boxes contained in a box without bottom 

to insert in the trolley. The container is 

fixed on the wall, by a lower metal frame, 

hanging from hearth by a upper metal 

frame of support.

Struttura realizzata in lamiera d' acciaio, spessore 1 mm, con 

parti rinforzate, spessore 3 mm, e verniciata a polveri 

epossidiche, i frontali del cassetto, l’antina e il piano superiore 

sono realizzati in ABS termoformato a doppio guscio, antigraffio 

e antiurto, riempito internamente con schiuma poliuretanica,. le 

maniglie sono ad incasso così da impedire traumi. Portabottiglie 

laterale in ABS termoformato, completo di due vani per riporre 

bottiglie con capacità 1,5 lt. Nel lato opposto sul piano 

superiore è presente una maniglia che funge anche da porta 

asciugamano. Il ripiano interno è realizzato in lamiera di acciaio 

verniciata a polveri epossidiche. Il fondo in acciaio inox è forato 

ed asportabile per permetterne l' aerazione e la pulizia. La base 

è dotata di 4 ruote gemellate, diametro 50 mm, di cui due con 

freno. Disponibile anche versione con tavolo servitore regolabile 

in altezza, girevole a 360° scorrevole longitudinalmente ed 

inclinabile a leggio su due lati. L'altezza della colonna è variabile 

mediante meccanismo di elevazione a molla azionato tramite 

una comoda maniglia posta sulla colonna.

The structure is made of steel sheet, thickness 1 mm, with 

reinforced parts thickness 3 mm and varnished with epoxy 

powders. The frontals of drawers, doors and upper surface are 

made of thermoformed ABS filled up with polyuretanic foam. 

The ABS is also shockproof and scratchproof. 

It is equipped with fitted handles in order to avoid any shock and 

with lateral bottle holder made of thermoformed ABS sufficient for 

two bottles of lt. 1,5 each. 

On the opposite, on the upper part there is an handle which can 

be used also ad towel support. The inner shelf is made of steel 

sheet varnished with epoxy powders. The bottom, made of 

stainless steel has holes for ventilation and it is detachable for easy 

cleaning procedures. The base is equipped with four twin wheels Ø 

50 mm., two of them with brake. It is available also a version with 

serving table . the table is adjustable in height, revolving 360°, 

longways sliding and reclinable as bookrest on two sides. 

The column height is adjustable through a gas mechanism moved 

by an handle put on the column.

The bedside table of the line ORIONE, is realized with a metal structure varnished with epoxy

Le gambe sono fissate mediante piastre in lega. 

È possibile applicare, per dimensioni maggiori o carichi

Relax armchairs 

La gamma di poltrone relax proposte comprende quattro 

versioni differenti con la possibilità di applicare accessori 

vari come aste flebo, poggia testa e piani servitori. 

Le poltrone sono realizzate con struttura in acciaio 

verniciato a polveri epossi poliesteri, sedili e schienali sono 

in compensato stratificato imbottito e rivestito con 

materiali ignifughi a densità differenziate con forme 

anatomiche per migliorare i confort della seduta. Lo 

schienale è dotato di controscocca in ABS termoformato 

e di maniglione di spinta. 

Tutti i comandi sono facilmente accessibili ed intuibili per 

il degente e per l’operatore, le poltrone con quattro ruote 

sono dotate di freni singoli. 

Le poltrone relax sono realizzate con materiali lavabili e 

disinfettabili, le ruote sono in plastica, le sedute sono 

rivestite in skai antistrappo, le controscocche sono in ABS 

ed hanno superficie antigraffio. 

The relax armchairs are proposed with four different solutions and 

it is possible to equip them with different accessories such us I.V 

pole, headrest and serving tables. 

The structure of the armchair is made of epoxy varnished steel; the 

seats and the backrests are made of padded stratified plywood 

which is upholstered with fireproof material and having anatomic 

shapes to make better the seating. The backrest is made of ABS and 

it is equipped with a push handle. 

All the levers to adjust the different sections of the armchair can be 

easily used from the patient and from the nursery; the relax 

armchairs on wheels are equipped with single brake. 

The relax armchair are made of washable and desinfectable 

material; the casters are made of plastic; the seats are upholstered 

with fabric against tears and the back part of the backrest is made 

of ABS with non-scratch surface.

La nuova gamma THESIS è stata progettata 

per l’impiego nei reparti di degenza specialistica 

o di sub-intensiva. 

Le caratteristiche principali di questa gamma 

sono le seguenti: la traslazione di schienale e 

bacino, le coppie sponde a quattro settori, 

l’allungaletto incorporato e l’impianto elettrico 

completo di doppi comandi e con batteria. 

THESIS è proposto in quattro diverse versioni; 

tutte sono dotate di centralina e motori 

elettrici per i movimenti, sblocco di 

emergenza bilaterale dello schienale e 

pediera con molla a gas dotata di comando 

bilaterale. I modelli proposti sono divisi in 

due categorie e le uniche differenze sono sui piani rete e sulle spalle. 

Il letto, con caratteristiche dimensionali uguali al progetto THEOREMA, 

è stato potenziato nelle movimentazioni, nella tipologia delle coppie sponde 

e nell’estetica. 

Tutte queste particolarità sono fondamentali per rendere THESIS 

versatile, pratico e funzionale per il paziente e per gli operatori. 

L’estetica è stata studiata in funzione della praticità di utilizzo, le coppie 

spalle sono stampate in TECNOPOLIMERO, materiale leggero e pieno nella massa; 

la coppia sponde a quattro settori è proposta con e senza comandi delle 

movimentazioni e con rivestimento in poliuretano integrale morbido; 

il basamento è ricoperto con un carter facilmente lavabile per le frequenti disinfezioni. 

Tutti i letti sono attrezzati per ricevere qualsiasi accessorio, compresi quelli ortopedici.

THESIS 

The new line THESIS has been projected for the use in the specialistic hospital wards or for 

the sub intensive therapy. The main features are the following: the translation of the backrest 

and of the pelvis section; the side rails divided in four sectors ; the bed extension already 

included; electric device complete of double commands and with battery. 

THESIS is proposed with four different versions; all of them are equipped with central 

link and electric motors for the movements; bilateral emergency device for backrest 

release; footrest with gas spring and bilateral command. 

The proposed model are divided in two categories; the differences are referred only 

to the bed base and to the head/foot panels. The bed, with the same dimensional 

features of the THEOREMA line, has been developed in the movements, in the 

typology of the head/foot panels and in the aesthetical aspect. All these details are 

fundamentals to make the bed THESIS versatile, practical and functional for the 

patients and for operators. 

The aesthetical aspect has been studied in relation with the practical use, the head/foot 

panels are made of engineering resin, a light material but at the same time full in its 

composition; the side rails with four sectors are proposed with or without commands for the 

movements, and covered with soft integral polyurethane. 

The basement is covered, for the frequents disinfections, by a washable carter. 

All the beds are equipped to receive any accessories, also for the orthopaedic one.

THESIS TECHNO EB0800 

È la versione più accessoriata adatta per cardiologia e 

cardiochirurgia. Viene fornita con centralina ACP separata 

posta sul lato piedi, comando di alzata a pediera elettrica, 

comandi integrati su sponde a 4 settori in poliuretano, 

piani rete in ABS, ruote da 150mm gemellate e spalle in 

Tecnopolimero. 

This type is the fully equipped version, suitable for cardiology and 

for cardiac surgery. It is supplied with a separated ACP central 

link put on the feet side; the height is regulated by an electric 

command that can be operated by the feet; the commands are 

inserted on the four sectors made of polyurethane. The bed plane 

is made of ABS, it is equipped with castors of 150 mm and with 

head/foot panels made of engineering resin. 

THESIS CLASSIC EB0810 

Versione identica al mod. TECHNO, adatto alla medicina 

d’urgenza e a tutte le zone di sub-intensiva. E’ provvisto di 

ruote gemellate da 125mm, centralina ACP posta sul lato 

piedi; è senza comandi integrati sulle coppie sponde ma con 

pulsantiera libera. Vengono mantenuti i piani rete in ABS e le 

coppie spalle in Tecnopolimero. 

This model is the same of the TECHNO one, suitable for urgency 

and sub intensive wards; it has twin castors of 125 mm, the ACP 

central link is put on the foot side; it is not equipped with 

commands on the side rails but with a free push button. 

The bed plane is made of ABS and the head/foot panels are 

made of engineering resin.

Questa versione trova impiego nelle degenze specialistiche. 

Si differisce dalle precedenti per le coppie sponde a quattro 

settori in tubo di acciaio verniciato senza rivestimento in 

poliuretano e senza comandi integrati e per le monoruote da 

125mm; su questo modello viene montata la mini centralina ACP. 

I piani rete sono in tondino di acciaio zincato e le spalle sono 

in tubo di acciaio cromato con inserto montato su supporti in 

polipropilene stampato. 

This version is suitable for specialistic stay in bed period. It is 

different from the previous models for the following features: the 

side rails are made of varnished steel, without polyurethane 

covering and without integrated commands; the castors are of 

125 mm and there is a small ACP central link. The bed sprung 

bases are made of zinc coated steel; the head foot panels are 

made of chromed steel with a panel put on supports made of 

moulded polypropylene.

Versione identica al mod. LIGHT ma realizzata in versione 

economica; esso mantiene le caratteristiche di base della serie 

ma è dotato di coppia sponde a compasso e spalle in tubo di 

acciaio cromato con inserto montato su supporti in

This model is the same of the LIGHT model, but it is realized in 

an economic version; it has the same basis features but it is 

equipped with side rails dismountable as a compass and

PIANI ROTO-TRASLABILI 

Il letto THESIS è usato maggiormente nelle degenze 

sub-intensive su pazienti immobili o lungodegenti; 

il sistema di roto-traslazione dei piani rete permette di 

scaricare la pressione che si crea quando si movimenta 

il paziente, consentendo di limitare notevolmente 

la formazione di piaghe da decubito. 

Lo schienale e il bacino del piano rete, durante la 

rotazione, indietreggiano rispettivamente di 6 cm ciascuno; 

questo permette al materasso di non schiacciare la schiena 

e le cosce del paziente. La distanza di 14 cm è in relazione 

alla dimensione della sezione fissa e garantisce che il 

materasso non crei pressioni sul paziente quando si 

movimentano i piani rete. 

ROTO TRANSFER PLANES 

The bed THESIS is used for the sub intensive period in bed 

and for motionless and for long stay patients. 

The movement system of roto translation of the bed planes 

allow to discharge the pressure made by moving the patient, 

reaching in this way an anti-decubitus position. 

The backrest and the pelvis section, during this movement, 

step back of six cm each; this permits to the mattress not to 

press the back and the legs of the patient. 

The distance of 14 cm is related to the dimension of the fixed 

section and it guarantees that the mattress doesn’t make 

pressure on the patient when the bed sprung bases move.

lo schienale; la discesa è rallentata da una frizione per evitare 

danni alle persone. 

Questo comando permette azioni in emergenza senza usare 

la pulsantiera elettrica. 

BACKREST RELEASE 

This function is present in all the models; it is essential on the 

electrics beds when they are used in observation and monitoring 

wards. It is possible to stop the motor through two lateral levers 

put on the backrest section; after this it is possible to push down 

the backrest; the descent is slowed down by a friction to avoid 

any danger for the people. This command permit emergency 

actions without using the electric push button. 

ALLUNGA-LETTO

LEGREST RELEASE 

This function is present in all the models; it permits to regulate in a precise 

way the legrest position. Lifting up manually the legrest, automatically lift 

up also the pelvis section, if this is not yet in an higher position. 

A gas spring with integrated block is moved by two laterals levers put on 

the legrest section. This command is actionable only with one hand 

without lift up the legrest; only to let it down it will be necessary to push 

on the central handle of the bed plane. 

SBLOCCO GAMBALE 

Questa funzione è presente in tutti i modelli, permette di 

regolare in maniera precisa la posizione del gambale; 

inoltre si precisa che alzando il gambale manualmente, 

automaticamente si alza anche il bacino a meno che 

quest’ultimo non sia già in posizione più alta. Mediante due 

leve, poste ambo i lati del gambale si aziona una molla a gas 

con blocco integrato. Questo comando si effettua con una 

sola mano senza dover sollevare il gambale, solo quando si 

deve abbassare bisogna premere sul maniglione centrale 

del piano.

HEAD FOOT PANELS MADE OF ENGINEERING RESIN 

The head/foot panels are made of engineering resin and varnished 

with non-toxic and non-scratch water. They are complete of joints for 

fixing to the bed. The edges are rounded and radiated to avoid any 

shock. The head/foot panels are equipped with ergonomic push 

handles. The engineering resin is a very strong material; it resists to 

violent knocks and it can be washed wit a temperature of maximum 

85°. The joint supports for the head/foot panels are made of

ad altezza variabile, dotato di coppia spalle in POLIPROPILENE piani rete asportabili 

in ABS termoformato e coppie sponde a compasso in ALLUMINIO. 

Questo modello di letto trova impiego prevalentemente in reparti specialistici, come 

cardiologie, cardiochirurgie, medicine d'urgenza ed altri, dove importante è la praticità, 

la velocità e la sicurezza nell'uso da parte degli operatori. 

La coppia spalle e il piano rete in materiale plastico, permettono di velocizzare le operazioni 

di pulizia anche manuali. Nei reparti ad alto turnover, dove il letto deve essere disinfettato 

ad ogni cambio paziente, la velocità delle operazioni di pulizia è importante. 

Il letto è dotato di controllo remoto delle funzioni, mediante una centralina posta a lato 

piedi, e di una batteria tampone per gli spostamenti interni alla struttura. 

Tutti i comandi sia manuali che elettrici sono azionabili con una sola manovra. 

Alla base sono montate ruote gemellate per garantire una maggiore stabilità 

nei percorsi da reparto a reparto.

This type of bed is addressed to cardiologic, cardiac surgery, emergency medicine 

and others wards, where is very important the praticalness, 

the rapidity and the safety using them by the operators. 

The head/foot panels and the bed sprung base made of 

plastic material make quicker the cleaning operations, 

also if they are manuals. The rapidity on cleaning 

operations is very important, above all in the 

turnover wards, where the bed must be disinfected 

each changing of patient. 

The bed is equipped with a remote control for 

the functions, controlled by a central link put 

at the foot side, and with a buffer battery for the 

movements inside the structure. 

All the manuals and electrics controls are activated 

by only one manoeuvre. 

At the base are mounted twin castors, to guarantee 

a better stability during the movements from ward

made of chromed glazed steel with a panel of stratified laminate, 

sprung bed base that is electro zinc plated, and side rails with 

vertical sliding, made of varnished or chromed steel. 

This version is equipped with a cheaper raising system, the 

specifications are the same and the only difference is the price. 

The base has a "X" shape that slides on four link and allows 

a perfect vertical rise. 

At the base there are single castors made of steel. 

Bed with three joints four sections, screw or gas crank; it is equipped 

with head/foot panels made of chromed glazed steel with a panel of 

stratified laminate, sprung bed base that is electro zinc plated, and 

side rails with vertical sliding made of varnished or chromed steel. 

This version can be used on the general surgery ward, where

Composto da un solido basamento in tubolare di acciaio verniciato al quale sono agganciate le 2 colonne e protetto da un 

carter di copertura in ABS termoformato la cui parte centrale ha la funzione di portabombole, facilmente lavabile e 

disinfettabile e completamente libero da ingombri, e da un telaio intermedio interno nel quale sono inseriti i 

piani rete con le coppie sponde. 

Lo schienale e la sezione femorale del piano rete arretra automaticamente durante la rotazione per 

ridurre la compressione della zona torace/bacino limitando la formazione di piaghe da decubito. 

Lo schienale e la pediera sono dotati di leva bilaterale per lo sblocco rapido mediante frizione in 

caso di manovre di emergenza. La sezione bacino è fissa per evitare lo schiacciamento del 

diaframma nella posizione di massima inclinazione dei settori. 

Il letto è dotato di una pulsantiera libera con la possibilità, mediante un dispositivo remoto 

opzionale, di escludere a scelta i comandi di movimentazione. 

La pulsantiera è dotata anche di tasto per l'azionamento contemporaneo di schienale e bacino, 

nonché di regolazione Trendelenburg e Controtrendelenburg. 

Ai quattro lati sono ricavate le sedi per l’inserimento dell’asta sollevamalati o asta flebo e ruote 

paracolpi in materiale plastico. 

Tutte le spalle sono asportabili e disponibili in diverse tipologie anche con supporto testata fisso 

affinché il letto in posizione di trendelenburg non tocchi la parete retrostante e l'asta flebo 

rimanga perfettamente verticale e in asse con il basamento. 

THECO viene proposto in 3 versioni base facilmente configurabili per ogni esigenza di reparto. 

Hospital bed with adjustable height through two vertical motorized columns; the movement of the 

backrest and the pelvis section is made by a push button, and the leg section movement is made 

manually by gas spring. 

It is composed by a strong basement made of tubular varnished steel on which are jointed two 

columns and it is protected by a carter made of ABS. This central part can be used as holder for the 

oxygen bottles and it is easily washable and disinfectable without bulks. It is composed also by an inner 

intermediate frame on which are put the bed sprung bases with the side rails. The backrest and the leg 

section step automatically back during the rotation reducing the pressure of the pelvis and the thorax, reaching 

in this way an anti decubitus position. The backrest and the legrest are equipped with bilateral lever for a quick 

release during emergency situations. 

The bed is equipped with a free push button panel and it is possible through an optional remote device, to choose the 

movements to lock. 

The push button include commands for synchronized movement of the backrest and pelvis sections, trendelenburg and reverse 


On the four corners it is possible to put accessories such as I.V stand, lifting pole and plastic bumpers. All the head/foot panels 

are detachable and available in different models also with fixed support.

PIANI ROTO-TRASLABILI 

Il sistema di roto-traslazione dei piani rete permette di 

scaricare la pressione che si crea quando si movimenta 

il paziente, consentendo di limitare notevolmente 

la formazione di piaghe da decubito. 

Lo schienale e il bacino del piano rete, durante la 

rotazione, indietreggiano rispettivamente di 7 cm ciascuno; 

questo permette al materasso di non schiacciare la schiena 

e le cosce del paziente. La distanza di 14 cm è in relazione 

alla dimensione della sezione fissa e garantisce che il 

materasso non crei pressioni sul paziente quando si 

movimentano i piani rete. 

ROTO TRANSFER PLANES 

The movement system of roto translation of the bed planes 

allow to discharge the pressure made by moving the patient, 

reaching in this way an anti-decubitus position. 

The backrest and the pelvis section, during this movement, 

step back of 7 cm each; this permits to the mattress not to 

press the back and the legs of the patient. 

The distance of 14 cm is related to the dimension of the fixed 

section and it guarantees that the mattress doesn’t make 

pressure on the patient when the bed sprung bases move.

laterali di sblocco si allunga tirando la spalla; a 

copertura del foro che si crea è presente un piano 

in laminato stratificato, sul quale si appoggia la 

prolunga del materasso. Estensione 15 cm. 

BED EXTENSION 

This function adjust the bed length; through two 

small knobs it is possible to make it longer pulling 

the foot panel; to cover the hole it has been put a 

plane made of stratified laminate; and on this it 

will be put the mattress extension 15 cm.

SBLOCCO SCHIENALE D’EMERGENZA (CPR) 

Questa funzione è indispensabile in tutti i letti elettrici. 

Mediante due leve, poste ambo i lati dello schienale, è 

possibile sbloccare il motore e quindi abbassare lo 

schienale; la discesa è rallentata da una frizione per 

evitare danni alle persone. Questo comando permette 

azioni in emergenza senza usare la pulsantiera 

elettrica. 

BACKREST RELEASE 

This function is essential on the electric beds when they 

are used in observation and monitoring wards. It is 

possible to stop the motor through two lateral levers put 

on the backrest section; after this it is possible to push 

down the backrest; the descent is slowed down by a 

friction to avoid any danger for the people. This 

command permit emergency actions without using the 

electric push button.

Questa funzione permette di regolare in maniera precisa la posizione del 

gambale, inoltre, alzando il gambale automaticamente si alza anche la sezione 

del bacino a meno che quest’ultimo, non sia già in posizione più alta. 

Mediante due leve, poste ambo i lati del gambale, si aziona una molla a gas 

con blocco integrato. Questo comando si effettua con una sola mano senza 

dover sollevare il gambale; solo quando si deve abbassare bisogna premere sul 

maniglione centrale del piano. 

LEGREST RELEASE 

This function permits to regulate in a precise way the legrest position. Lifting up 

manually the legrest, automatically lift up also the pelvis section, if this is not yet 

in an higher position. 

A gas spring with integrated block is moved by two laterals levers put on the 

legrest section. This command is actionable only with one hand without lift up the 

legrest; only to let it down it will be necessary to push on the central handle of the

Il progetto Giove, sviluppato da Givas con la

e’ il risultato di una ricerca durata alcuni anni

GRANDE PRATICITA’ NELLE OPERAZIONI DI 

DISINFEZIONE 

Le coperture della struttura, i piani di coricamento, 

le coppie sponde e le testiere/pediere sono raccordate in modo 

tale da consentire una veloce operazione di pulizia. Tutti i 

materiali di rivestimento sono trattati con antimicrobici 

Interpon 700AB. 

Tutte le strutture verniciate a polveri termoindurenti, sono 

protette da una miscela di resine Epossidiche e di resine 

Poliesteri 700AB che garantiscono una specifica attività 

igienizzante e disinfettante delle superfici. 

Da precisi test eseguiti da LAW LABORATORIES LTD, tali 

verniciature sono risultate possedere una alta azione battericida, 

equivalente in percentuale: Staphylococcus aureus 99,9%, 

Escherichia coli 90,8%, Pseudomonas aeruginosa 92,4% 

Queste particolari caratteristiche facilitano le operazioni di 

disinfezione e garantiscono la massima asepsi. 

MASSIMO AIUTO NELLA TERAPIA MEDICA 

Il letto è predisposto per ricevere ed applicarvi una vasta 

gamma di accessori utili per il trattamento terapeutico del 

paziente. I comandi multilaterali 

delle movimentazioni, posizionati nella parte superiore del letto 

per l’utilizzo con le mani e in quella inferiore per l’utilizzo con i 

piedi, sono estremamente pratici e facilitano le movimentazioni

The coverings of structure, lying 

surfaces, the side rails and head/foot 

panels are made so as to speed up the 

cleaning procedures. All the coatings 

are treated with antimicrobes Interpon 

700AB. All the structures made of 

varnished steel, are realized through 

paints with thermosetting powders and 

polyester and epoxy resins 700AB 

warranting high protective qualities 

and specific disinfecting and hygienic 

activities of surfaces. After precise test 

made by LAW LABORATORIES LTD, it 

has been discovered that these paints 

have high germicide action, equivalent in percentage to: 

Staphylococcus aureus 99,9%, Escherichia coli 90,8%, 

Pseudomonas aeruginosa 92,4%. 

These particulars features make easier the disinfection 

procedures and warranty the total asepsis. 

HELP FOR MEDICAL THERAPY

Giove bed gives the possibility to move the bed base in different positions 

allowing the patient to join the best position by himself, without the 

help of nursing people. 

For the nursing operators are available programmed commands, 

which allow automatic configuration such as CRP, 

Trendelenbug or Cardiac chair.

makes the use of proper beds that perform the main security and practical 

functions indispensable. 

These wards today are developed in the hospital and their equipment 

is the more modern in order to make them functional and versatile. 

The Alzheimer bed for the hospital sector is perfectly the same of that 

for rest homes and it was created right for the hospitalisation. 

As for resting homes, head/foot panels and accessories are the same 

for the hospital sector, so that the aesthetic of the whole structureis uniform. 

All available head/foot panels and accessories of the Theorema set 

can be assembled.

Il letto è azionato da tre motori elettrici, 

uno per il movimento simultaneo di schienale e bacino, 

due per l’altezza del letto e movimentazione, per l’alzata 

e per il trendelenburg e contro trendelenburg. 

Il piano di coricamento è a tre snodi quattro sezioni, può 

essere fornito con rete elettrosaldata e zincata o con ABS 

termoformato; la pediera si aziona manualmente 

con due cremagliere semiautomatiche a sei posizioni. 

Tutto l’impianto elettrico si trova nella parte centrale 

del letto, sotto il piano rete; il sistema di sollevamento 

lascia la parte inferiore del letto completamente libera 

per tutta la sua lunghezza e le ruote per gli spostamenti 

interni sono a contatto con il pavimento solo 

alla massima altezza. 

Le ruote lato testa sono fisse, quelle al lato piede sono 

invece gemellari, piroettanti e dotate di freno singolo. 

Tutti gli spigoli sono arrotondati e gli organi 

di movimento e alzata alla minima altezza sono nascosti 

all’interno del telaio intermedio. Alle estremità del letto, 

sul telaio intermedio, sono fissate le staffe di supporto 

per le coppie spalle. 

Three electric motors activate the movements of the bed, 

one motor activates the simultaneous movement 

for backrest and basin and two motors activate the lifting, 

the trendelenburg and antitrendelenburg. 

They are installed on the head side and in the foot side of 

the bed. The base where the patient lay down has three 

joints and four sections and it can be provided with arc 

welded and zinc coated steel net or with thermoformed ABS. 

Two semiautomatic cranks with six positions activate 

the footrest manually.The complete electrical system is 

on the central part of the bed, under the sprung bed base. 

The lifting system leaves the inferior part of the bed in its 

entire length free. The castors for the internal movements 

are on the floor only when the bed is at its highest level 

The castors of the head side are fixed, the ones of the foot 

side are twin, rotating castors with single brake. 

All edges are bevelled and the movement systems 

(also to lift up the bed) are hidden in the intermediate frame. 

The support brackets are fixed at the head side and the foot 

side of the bed, on the intermediate frame, for the wooden 

heat foot couple.

Dispositivo di segnalazione acustico o luminoso remoto per avvisare il personale che il 

paziente non è a letto. Il dispositivo è composto da una barra trasversale nella zona 

centrale del letto che con la pressione del peso corporeo apre un circuito elettrico, nel 

momento in cui il paziente si alza dal letto, o comunque si posiziona ai piedi del letto, 

si chiude un contatto che aziona un campanello o una spia luminosa. 

If the patient doesn't stay on bed, the personal can know it by the help of a light or an horn. 

The system is composed by a transversal bar in the central zone of the bed, that with the 

body pressure, opens an electric circuit. When the patient get up, a closed contact activates 

an alarm bell or a warning light.
