Sfogliando l’album storico di Giovanni, si entra nella storia del ciclismo.<br />
Ci si imbatte in foto straordinarie, scatti rubati, immagini di corse polverose,<br />

usciva da un dopoguerra durissimo.<br />

Nani quasi non si vede, è un pò nascosto perchè travolto da una gioia popolare<br />
contagiosa, intorno a lui c’è entusiasmo.<br />

Flipping through the historic album of Giovanni is to enter into<br />
the story of cycling. There we see in extraordinary photos, stolen<br />
moments, images of the dusty road, of everyday life, joy triumph,<br />

grande regalo tramandatoci dal dna di Giovanni. Fausto è l’anima e la guida<br />
del reparto cicli, ruolo che ricopre dalla fine degli anni 70, ovvero quando il<br />
marchio comincia la sua prima grande metamorfosi da laboratorio a fabbrica<br />
di telai da competizione. Andrea, entrato nella metà degli anni 90 sviluppa il<br />
grande movimento parallelo alla produzione che è il mondo delle Granfondo<br />
e successivamente dei viaggi in bicicletta legati al marchio di famiglia. Carla<br />
è l’animo femminile, quindi il Lifestyle Pinarello, il suo gusto l’occhio e la sensibilità<br />
unica per vestire i corridori in bici e nel dopo bici.<br />
Le nuove generazioni sono già in azienda per essere pronte a ricoprire il loro<br />
ruolo, che sarà fondamentale per portare avanti giorno dopo giorno la grande<br />
passione che Nonno Giovanni ha tramandato con pazienza ed amore.<br />

Fausto is the spirit and the leader of the cycling department, a role<br />
he’s held since the 70s, which was when the brand began its first<br />
big metamorphosis from laboratory to fabrication of competition frames.<br />
Andrea joined the goal in the 90s, developing the great parallel<br />
movement to the production that is the world of the Granfondo<br />
and successively of the many journeys in bicycling connected to<br />
the family brand. Carla is the feminine heart, therefore the Pinarello<br />

Oggi la sfida del mercato è sul carbonio, un materiale che permette di<br />
spaziare nelle forme e di sfruttare appieno tutta la nostra esperienza di inge-<br />
nieria ciclistica accumulata in oltre sessant’anni di attività.<br />
Il Prince ha dimostrato che nuove forme mai provate da nessuno in passato,<br />
nuove sezioni su punti critici, lo sfruttamento delle angolazioni delle pelli, si<br />
traducono in resistenze e comportamenti su strada mai provati in passato su<br />
un telaio da competizione. Sul Prince e sulla FM1 siamo all’eccellenza perchè<br />
l’utilizzo del carbonio Torayca ® 50HM1K, quindi di resistenza 50 tonnellate<br />
per millimetro quadrato ad alto modulo con intreccio di 1000 fibre per milli-<br />
metro quadrato, ci permette l’utilizzo di meno materiale, meno resine e quindi<br />
spessori ridotti a favore del peso finale. Il Prince infatti nonostante le forme<br />
generose riesce a collocarsi sotto ai 900 grammi nella misura 54.<br />
Torayca ® è un marchio Toray ® , azienda Giapponese con sedi in Europa e USA,<br />
prima produttrice al mondo di fibre di carbonio. Ha iniziato la sua attività nel 1970<br />

new cross-sections on critical stress points and unique angles of laying up<br />
the carbon to increase strength without adding weight, all translate into ride<br />
qualities that have never before been achieved, creating a competition frame<br />
that surpasses all others. The Prince and the FM1 as well, owe some of their<br />
high performance qualities to the type of carbon used in their production. To-<br />
rayca® 50HM1K high modulus carbon derives its name from its resistance<br />
factor, 50 tons for square millimeter and the top weave which is interlaced<br />
with1000 fibers per crossing. This high quality aerospace material allows<br />
to us to use less material without compromising the integrity of the frame.<br />

infatti risulta il 35% più leggero delle leghe di alluminio a parità di volume, ha punti di rottura paragonabili solo<br />

DOGMA® FPX: the pride of Pinarello. The Dogma remains today, the only competition frame in the world made from<br />
Magnesium AK61. In the 2000 we opened a new road that no one has been able to follow. Eight years of research and<br />
continuous evolution have led to improvements that give it the strongest structural characteristics of any frame available<br />
today. Magnesium is more commonly used in the aerospace industry, it is extremely difficult to weld and generally hard<br />
to work with. In the world of the cycling to use pure Magnesium has always been a fantasy, an unattainable dream,<br />
the material most desired by frame builders, since its characteristics match perfectly the requirements of a competition<br />
frame. Magnesium in fact makes it 35% lighter than aluminum by volume and has a breaking point comparable only to<br />

FP5 è il nostro primo e fortunatissimo telaio full carbon che<br />
quest’anno raggiunge la sua quarta generazione.<br />
Triangolo ultra collaudato mixa le forme quasi spigolose delle sezioni<br />
del tubo orizzontale a linee armoniose del carro e della forcella<br />
onda. Carbonio a resistenza 30 tonnellate per millimetro quadro<br />
con trama a 12k. Il Telaio è performante, è una bicicletta molto<br />
amata dai granfondisti per le sue doti di versatilità e comfort soprattutto<br />
sulle lunghe distanze.<br />
Tecnicamente sarà tutta nuova con componentistica Most e nuovissime<br />
grafiche dipinte a mano in 5 differenti colorazioni.<br />
La massima leggerezza si raggiunge nella versione Naked a circa<br />
1100 gr nella misura 54.<br />
FP5 viene fornita come bici completa in 8 misure.<br />
FP5 is our first and fortunate full carbon frame that marks its 4th<br />
generation this year.<br />
A long time tested triangle of edging (?) shapes, with sections of<br />
the horizontal tube (?), and the harmonious lines of the rear and<br />
the Onda fork. Carbon has a 30 tons resistance for square millimeter<br />
with trama (?) at 12K. The frame’s performance is loved<br />
by the participants of the gran fondo for its qualities of versatility<br />
and comfort, especially in on long distances. Technically it will be<br />
completely new with Most components and new graphics. Hand<br />
painted in 5 different colors.<br />
The maximum width is reached in the Naked version in 54 size at<br />
approximately 1100 grams.<br />

FP3 è la grande novità <strong>2009</strong> di casa Pinarello da cui partirà una nuova generazione di telai full carbon monoscocca.<br />
Telaio derivato niente meno che dalla “Best Bike of the Year” ovvero sua maestà il Prince.<br />
Costruita e disegnata con il SOE System del Pinarello LAB (Simulation, Optimize, Evolution) appare leggermente<br />
meno possente nelle forme rispetto al Prince, ma mantiene le caratteristiche di grande compattezza ed armonia<br />
delle linee che hanno decretato il successo della sorella maggiore.<br />
FP3 monta la nuovissima forcella Onda FPK derivata dalla FPX del Prince e del Dogma con conificazione del 1’<br />
1/8” ad 1’ 1/4” sulla testa forcella. Il telaio è realizzato in carbonio 30HM12K monoscocca con carro monostay<br />
ONDA FPK, forcellini posteriori assimmetrici, caratteristica unica solo al Prince) ed il nostro collaudato movimento<br />
centrale oversize MOST Croxover. Peso nella misura 54 è a solo 1100 grammi.<br />
Commercializzata solo come bicicletta completa, particolare attenzione è stata dedicata alla sua vestizione con<br />
7 colorazioni rigorosamente dipinte a mano e componentistica esclusiva come i nuovissimi freni Most con pinza<br />
rossa, reggisella manubrio ed attacco manubrio in carbonio con finiture 3K.<br />
FP3 sarà disponibile in 14 misure, 10 da uomo e 4 speciali angolazioni specifiche pensate per la donna.<br />
FP3 is the great innovation from the house of Pinarello for <strong>2009</strong>. It marks the beginning of a new generation of<br />
full carbon monocoque frames derived from nothing less than the “Best Bike of the Year,” his majesty the Prince.<br />
Built and designed with the SOE System of the Pinarello LAB (Simulation, Optimize, Evolution), it appears a little<br />
less powerful in shape then the Prince, but retains the characteristics of strong compactness and harmony of lines<br />
that earned the success of its older brother.<br />
FP3 uses the new Onda FPK fork derived from the FPX of the Prince and of the Dogma with a conified 1’ 1/8”<br />
to 1’ 1/4” on the head of the fork. The frame is realized in carbon 30HM12K monocoque with ONDA FPK rear<br />
monostay, asymmetrical rear fork, a unique characteristic of the Prince, and our tested central movement oversize<br />
MOST Croxover. Size 54 weighs only 1100 grams. Sold only as full bicycle, particular attention has been dedicated<br />
to its aethetic with 7 hand painted colorways and exclusive components such as the new Most Brakes with<br />
red clamps, reggisella (?) handlebars and attached handlebars in carbon with 3K finish.<br />
FP3 will be available in 14 sizes, 10 for men and 4 special angles designed for women.<br />

The utilization of this very exclusive fiber with 50 tons resistance for<br />
square millimeter, allows us to use less material with an equal performance<br />
and resistance. A positive point also for the weight only 1150<br />
grams.<br />
The characteristics of this frame are phenomenal, impressive rigidity<br />
and excellent agility even on the most challenging curves. The<br />
frame is available in 6 different sizes with 2 different seat angulations:<br />

- GUARANTEE - “CICLI <strong>PINARELLO</strong> SPA” guarantee that their products are free from defects in manufacture,<br />
workmanship or materials for 24 months from the date of purchase from the retailer, 12 months for the<br />
carbon parts. Any complaints must be presented within 8 days of discovering the fault, otherwise the guarantee<br />
shall be void; within these terms “CICLI <strong>PINARELLO</strong> SPA” shall repair or replace, at their discretion,<br />
the products that are recognised as being faulty. This guarantee does not cover damage or faults due to: 1.<br />
Normal wear. 2. Improper assembly or use of products that are not compatible. 3. Improper maintenance,<br />
repair or modification. 4. Improper use, ill treatment, abuse, accident, negligence, commercial or competitive<br />
use. 5. Shipment or transport. “CICLI <strong>PINARELLO</strong> SPA” decline all responsibility for indirect, consequential<br />
or incidental damage.<br />
- CLAIM PROCEDURE - Claims under guarantee must be presented through the authorised dealers of<br />
“CICLI <strong>PINARELLO</strong> SPA”. Certain proof of the date of purchase must be presented. The return of material<br />
for inspection must be authorised beforehand by “CICLI <strong>PINARELLO</strong> SPA”. All the costs for shipment to and<br />
from “CICLI <strong>PINARELLO</strong> SPA” are at the consumer’s expense. Goods returned outside the guarantee period<br />
or not complying with the procedure indicated here shall be rejected. Please consult the whole text of the<br />
guarantee, of which this is only asummary, which is enclosed with Pinarello products. For further information,<br />
