le preziose fave di cacao giunte dall’America sulle navi di Cortez,<br />
il cioccolato è arrivato in Piemonte più di 400 anni fa.<br />
Lo stesso cioccolato che oggi Leone lavora con cura e sapienza,<br />
dalla tostatura ad aria calda fino al lungo affinaggio in conche piane.<br />

studded with a myriad of drowned candy crystals scenting of rose and violet,<br />

MiraFlores pays tribute to the beautiful flower-strewn gardens<br />
of the lost Castle of “Mirafiori”, wedding gift by the loving Charles Emmanuel I,<br />
Duke of Savoy, to his beloved bride Catherine Michelle of Spain.<br />
Thanks to the young princess, whose court brought along the precious<br />
cocoa beans sailing from America on Cortez ships, chocolate<br />
was gifted to Piedmont more than 400 years ago.<br />
And this is the same chocolate which still nowadays Leone passionately<br />
produces with careful and wise skills, from bean to bar,<br />
from hot-air roasting to the long and patient lullaby<br />
