I’ve never been able to sleep without a light on. It’s not that I’m afraid of the<br />
dark, but what hides within the darkness. It started when I was five and my<br />
mom and I moved into a two bedroom trailer. Every night I’d run down the<br />
hallway and dive in her bed because of the shadows I saw on the wall… call<br />
me crazy, but I knew they were watching me sleep.<br />

Non sono mai riuscita a dormire senza una luce accesa. Non è che io abbia<br />
paura dell'oscurità, ma di cosa si nasconda nell'oscurità. È iniziato quando<br />
avevo cinque anni e mia madre ed io ci siamo trasferite in un roulotte con<br />
due camere da letto. Ogni notte correvamo lungo il corridoio e mi tuffavo nel<br />
suo letto a causa delle ombre che vedevo sul muro ... chiamatemi pazza, ma<br />
sapevo che mi stavano osservando dormire.<br />
