È una serie unica che ricorda i vecchi bauli con cinghie o le lanterne navali, concepita<br />
come un’opera d’arte sia per la combinazione delle finiture, sia per l’ unicità delle basi<br />
in marmo naturale, sempre diverse per tonalità e venatura, sia per il vetro soffiato in stile<br />
Muranese. Le sue geometrie, semplici e lineari, conferiscono alla lampada una nobile<br />
eleganza. Disponibile in quattro versioni. Il suo creatore, Vincenzo Bafunno, si è ispirato<br />
all’antica tradizione della lavorazione del marmo e alla tradizione marinaresca della sua<br />
terra e della sua città: Trani.<br />
It’s a unique series inspired to old trunks or nautical lanterns, a masterpiece of art both for<br />
finishings and materials like the natural marble of the bases and both for the Murano style<br />
blown glass. Its simple and linear geometries give to the lamp itself a noble elegance.<br />
Available in four versions. The designer, Vincenzo Bafunno, was inspired for his work by<br />
the old traditions in sailing and marble handcraft of his town: Trani.<br />

SERIE <strong>SUITCASE</strong><br />
TOP LEVEL DESIGN<br />
Vincenzo Bafunno, classe ’68, è ARCHITETTO FOTOGRAFO e DESIGNER, laureato al Politecnico di<br />
Milano. Nel suo studio in Andria si occupa di Progettazione Architettonica, Design d’interni e d’esterni,<br />
Nuove Costruzioni e Restauri e ha la passione per la illuminotecnica e la progettazione di prodotti.<br />
In tutti i progetti di cui si è occupato l’elemento focale è la luce, scenografica e fotografica, caratterizzata<br />
da ombre che esaltano i volumi, le geometrie e i materiali.<br />
Vincenzo Bafunno, class of ‘68, is a PHOTOGRAPHER ARCHITECT and a DESIGNER graduated from<br />
the Polytechnic of Milan. In his firm in Andria he deals with Architectural planning, Interior and Exterior<br />
Design, New Construction and Restoration and has a passion for lighting and product design. In all the<br />
projects he got involved into the focal element is light, scenographic and photographic, characterized by<br />
shadows that enhance volumes, geometries and materials.
