Ho studiato, fino ad ora da autodidatta, approfondendo
e migliorando le mie abilità sopratutto
nel campo del fotoritocco digitale e
del design. Ho poi sperimentato anche l’illustrazione,
benchè, per via della mia disgrafia,
senza ottenere risultati eccelsi.

Per la realizzazione di questo pattern o iniziato a pensare a come andare a rappresentare delle
figure geometriche in maniera non banale. Ho quindi cercato di rappresentare il concetto di esplosione
e di caos oridnato. Ho sostituito due lati di ogni figura con il solo vertice che li collegava, ed
ho riproposto questo modus operandi per tutte le figure da me rappresentate, ad eccezione delle
linee oblique che ricordano le onde, da me inserite per spezzare la rigidità delle linee dritte che
compongono le figure.
For the realization of this pattern or started thinking about how to go about representing geometric
figures in a non-trivial way. I therefore tried to represent the concept of explosion and chaos. I replaced
two sides of each figure with the only vertex that connected them, and I repeated this modus operandi
for all the figures I represented, with the exception of the oblique lines that recall the waves, which I
inserted to break the rigidity of the straight lines that make up the figures.

Pomeriggio al parco
L’idea alla base di questo design deriva da una mia esperienza vissuta. Tre anni fa mi trovavo a
Central Park a New York, e dopo aver preso un caffè nel parco, mi sono messo a chiacchierare con
una ragazza mia coetanea incontrata li. Ho quindi voluto raccontare come una cosa semplice come
un caffè possa essere un “mezzo di comunicazione” e u’ occasione di comunità e di conoscenza.

The concept behind my work comes from one fo my own past experiences. Three years ago I was in
Central Park, in New York, where, after having a coffee in the park, I started chatting with a girl of mu
age who i met there. So I decided to highlight how a simple thing like having a coffee can be a “means
of communication” and also an opportunity for communicate or meeting someone new.

Alla base di questo poster sta l’idea di trovare un simbolo unico che possa andare a rappresentare
più etnie, culture e paesi. Ritengo che avere qualcosa di comune sia uno dei migliori modi per
unire più elementi. L’idea della bandiera, simbolo che rappresenta la totalità degli appartenenti
ad un paese, mi pare l’idea perfetta per simboleggiare l’unità anche di tutti gli stati appartenenti
al pianeta terra. Inoltre ho voluto inserire le mani di diverse etnie al fine di mostrare come questa
grande bandiera sia effettivamente sostenuta dalla cooperazione di più individui.
The main aim of this poster is the research to find a unique symbol that can represent more ethnic
groups, cultures and countries from all over the world. I personally believe that having something in
common is one of the best ways to combine and lead each other multiple elements. The idea of ​the
flag, that is a symbol that contains all of the members of a country, could be the perfect object to symbolize
the unity between all the states belonging to the planet earth. I also wanted to include the hands
of different ethnic groups in order to obtain an effect that show how this great flag is actually supported
by the cooperation of several individuals.

Locandina di un film rivisitata
Le Follie
dell’imperatore
Una nuova locandina in stile “minimal”

Quando ho scoperto di dover fare una locandina di un film, essendo io abbastanza cinefilo, le idee
erano numerosissime. Ho scelto questo lungometraggio in linea con la tendenza della Disney di
riesumare vecchi successi del suo parco titoli. La scelta di optare per uno stile minimal è dovuto al
fatto che i personaggi di questo cartone sono ben caratterizzati anche in fatto di character design,
e sono facilmente riconoscibili anche dalle loro sole silhouette. Ho inoltre aggiunto una cornice
con le decorazioni tipiche delle tribù Inca, da cui il film trae ispirazione.
When I found out that I had to make a movie poster, as I was fairly cinephile, the ideas were numerous.
I chose this feature in line with Disney’s tendency to revive old titles from its stock. The choice to opt for
a minimal style is due to the fact that the characters of this cartoon are well characterized also in terms
of character design, and are easily recognizable even by their silhouette alone. I also added a frame
with the typical decorations of the Inca tribes, from which the film draws inspiration.
