<strong>Lepel</strong>, che in Afrikkans significa "cucchiaio,"<br />

è molto più di una sedia, si tratta di un<br />

sistema di sedute imbott<strong>it</strong>e che incarna l'arte<br />

dell'artigianato e l'eleganza senza tempo.<br />

Il nome mira ad evocare il concetto di contenere<br />

e sostenere, proprio come un cucchiaio: il<br />

suo schienale, accuratamente progettato,<br />

avvolge delicatamente chi vi siede, offrendo il<br />

massimo comfort e supporto. <strong>Lepel</strong> diventa così<br />

l'incarnazione di un abbraccio accogliente.

Luca Nichetto<br />

Luca Nichetto nasce a Venezia nel 1976, dove studia consegue la Laurea in Disegno<br />

Industriale presso lo IUAV, Ist<strong>it</strong>uto Univers<strong>it</strong>ario di Arch<strong>it</strong>ettura di Venezia. Nel 1999<br />

comincia l’attiv<strong>it</strong>à professionale disegnando i suoi primi prodotti in vetro di Murano<br />

per Salviati e nello stesso anno prende il via il sodalizio con Foscarini. Nel 2006 fonda<br />

a Porto Marghera, vicino a Venezia, lo studio Nichetto&Partners e nel 2011 decide di<br />

avviare una filiale dello studio a Stoccolma.<br />

Luca Nichetto nel corso della sua carriera ha ricevuto importanti riconoscimenti a livello<br />

internazionale, tra cui il Gran Design Award 2008, il Good Design Award del Chicago<br />

Athenaeum Museo of Arch<strong>it</strong>ecture 2008, l’IF Product Design Award 2008 e l’Elle Decorati<br />

on International Design Awards 2009 (EDIDA) come Designer dell’Anno nella categoria<br />

Young Designer Talent.<br />

Oltre ad aver partecipato a mostre in Europa, Stati Un<strong>it</strong>i e Giappone, Luca Nichetto è<br />

stato protagonista d’importanti retrospettive che hanno toccato alcune delle maggiori<br />

c<strong>it</strong>tà europee tra cui Venezia, Londra, Parigi e Stoccolma e ha firmato, in qual<strong>it</strong>à di art<br />

director, molteplici eventi di respiro internazionale.
