La ditta OMFA dei F.lli Assisi Snc di Villa Carcina, Brescia, fondata nel 1973 dal
fratelli Raul e Gianfranco Assisi. L’azienda si è specializzata a produrre stampi per
materie plastiche e per pressocolata di alluminio, questi ultimi divenuti poi la sua
produzione principale. La Ditta forte di una consolidata esperienza nel settore, progetta
costruisce e realizza tutto all’interno del proprio stabilimento, in pratica dalla
OMFA esce il progetto “chiavi in mano”, pronto per essere mandato in fonderia.
I fratelli Assisi ribadiscono l’importanza degli stampi nel processo di pressocolata,
è fondamentale pertanto che la loro costruzione sia effettuata con la massima
precisione, essendo a contatto con temperature che si aggirano intorno ai 700 C
nel caso dell’alluminio è necessario far fronte alle dilatazioni e alle deformazioni
che intervengono in fase di colata. Dal 2005 la OMFA ha ottenuto la certificazione
ISO 9001/2000 dall’ente ITALCERT.

The company OMFA dei F.lli Assisi Snc with headquarters in Villa Carcina, Brescia,
was founded in 1973 by the brothers Raul and Gianfranco Assisi. The company is specialised
in the production of moulds for plastic materials and in aluminium die-casting
moulds. With time, these latter have become the main production line. Our company
has a great experience in this sector. It engineers, develops and manufactures the
products in its plant. This means that OMFA supplies a “turn-key” product ready to
be used in the foundry. The Assisi brothers recognise the importance of mould quality
in the ambit of the die-casting process and are aware of the fact that high precision
is required in the mould manufacturing process as, in the case of aluminium, moulds
come into contact with temperatures of about 700°C. It is also necessary to take
into consideration that dilatation and deformation take place during the die-casting
phase. In 2005 OMFA obtained the ISO 9001/2000 certification from ITALCERT.

Die Firma OMFA dei F.lli Assisi Snc von Villa Carcina, Brescia wurde von den Gebrüdern
Raul und Gianfranco Assisi im Jahr 1973 gegründet. Sie ist auf die Herstellung von
Formen für Kunststoffmaterialien sowie von Druckgussformen spezialisiert. Diese
Druckgussformen sind inzwischen zur Hauptproduktion geworden. Die Firma besitzt
eine grosse Erfahrung in diesem Sektor und entwickelt und baut die Produkte in ihrem
Werk: OMFA stellt praktisch „schülsselfertige“ Produkte her, die in den Gießereien
sofort einsetzbar sind. Die Gebrüder Assisi wissen, dass die Druckgussformen mit
der höchsten Genauigkeit hergestellt werden müssen, da sie mit Temperaturen im
Bereich von ca. 700°C in Kontakt treten. Bei Aluminium sind auch Ausdehnungen und
Verformungen in der Gießphase in Betracht zu ziehen. Im Jahr 2005 hat die Firma
OMFA die Zertifizierung ISO 9001/2000 von ITALCERT erhalten.

La OMFA con un organico di 13 persone e una produzione di circa 50 stampi all’anno di dimensioni
medio grandi, per poter garantire un elevato livello di qualità, viene dedicata molta attenzione in fase di
progettazione dello stampo avvalendosi dei più sofisticati sistemi di progettazione come PRO-E e VISI-
CAD, per la simulazione del processo di colata da 2 anni viene utilizzato il software MAGMA, mentre in
officina per il CAM viene usato WORKNC.
OMFA has 13 employees and produces about 50 medium to large size moulds per year. In order to
guarantee a high quality level, it dedicates special attention to the mould engineering phase. To this
end, it uses very sophisticated engineering systems like PRO-E and VISI-CAD for the simulation of the
die-cast process. It has been using the MAGMA software for two years. In the workshop the WORKNCsoftware
is used in connection with the CAM-system.
OMFA hat 13 Mitarbeiter, stellt ca. 50 mittelgrossen zu grossen Formen im Jahr her und garantiert
ein hohes Qualitätsniveau. Der Form-Entwicklungsphase wird grosse Aufmerksamkeit gewidmet: Dazu
werden technologisch hochentwickelte Entwicklungssysteme wie PRO-E und VISI-CAD in Verbindung
mit der Software MAGMA für die Gussprozess-Simulation benutzt. In der Werkstatt wird das System
WORKNC für das CAM-System eingesetzt.

OMFA dedica molta attenzione anche nella fase di assemblaggio dello stampo, se nella prima si fa affidamento
alla tecnologia delle macchine in questa fase tutto si concentra nell’abilità e nell’esperienza del
personale, nella fase finale di controllo del pezzo viene utilizzata una macchina tridimensionale per rilevare
le quote dimensionali, che devono ovviamente corrispondere al disegno pezzo iniziale fornito dal cliente.
OMFA also dedicates particular attention to the mould assembly phase. The engineering
phase is based on technology, while this second phase depends on the personnel’s skills
and experience. In the final product control phase, a three-dimensional machine is used to
record dimensions which must correspond to the initial drawing supplied by the customer.
OMFA widmet auch der Formbauphase grosse Aufmerksamkeit. Während in der ersten Phase
die Maschinentechnologie eine wichtige Rolle spielt, ist in der zweiten Phase die Erfahrung des Personals
besonders wichtig. In der Endphase werden die Produkte unter Zuhilfenahme einer dreidimensionalen
Maschine einer Endprüfung unterzogen. Durch diese Maschine werden die Abmessungen,
die dem Kunden zur Verfügung gestellten Zeichnung entsprechen müssen, geprüft.

La OMFA è sempre alla continua ricerca per migliorare l’efficienza produttiva, sia in termini economici che tempistici,
ma soprattutto per la qualità del prodotto, spingendo i titolari in questi 2/3 anni a rinnovare quasi tutto il parco
macchine, acquistando macchine a portale per poter costruire matrici di grosse dimensioni e accessoriate con
elettromandrini fino a 50.000 giri al minuto; mentre invece per poter costruire anche porta stampi di grosse dimensioni
per presse da 1600-2000 tonnellate da circa anno si è dotata di una fresatrice a montante mobile ZAYER
ZOKCU con corse da 4000 X 2000 X 1200 millimetri con capacità di carico per pezzi fino a 15 tonnellate, dotata
di piattaforma girevole a piano STOLLE da 3 m con 2 teste, di cui una bi rotativa con 360.000 posizioni angolari.
OMFA constantly aims at improving production in order to save costs and time and to guarantee a high-quality product.
To this end, the company owners have almost completely renewed their machinery in the last 2/3 years and
have bought portal machines able to produce moulds with large dimensions which can be equipped with electric
spindles running at max. 50.000 rounds per minute. In order to produce large dimension mould frames for large
presses (1600-2000 tons), one year ago the company also bought a milling machine with movable mounting ZAYER
ZOKCU with 4000x2000x1200 mm strokes with a piece load capacity up to 15 tons, equipped with a turning platform
with STOLLE bed. The 3-m bed has 2 heads, one of which is birotational and has 360.000 angular positions.
OMFA zielt stets darauf hin, die Produktionsleistungsfähigkeit zu verbessern, um Kosten und Zeit zu sparen und insbesondere,
um die Qualität des Produkts zu verbessern. In den letzten 2 bis 3 Jahren ist der gesamte Maschinenpark
erneuert worden. Es sind Portalmaschinen zur Herstellung von grossen Matrizen erworben worden. Diese Maschinen
sind mit Elektrospindeln mit max. 50.000 U/min. ausgestattet. Des weiteren ist eine Fräsmaschine ZAYER ZOKCU mit
beweglichem Ständer zur Herstellung von grossen Formenrahmen für Pressen mit 1600 bis 2000 Tonnen mit einem
Hub von 4000x2000x1200 mm und einer Ladekapazität für Teile bis 15 Tonnen erworben worden. Diese Fräsmaschine
ist mit einer Drehplatte mit einer 3-m-Ebene mit 2 Köpfen (eine davon mit 360.000 Winkelpositionen) versehen.

a fornire lo stampo per la produzione fornisce l’assistenza tecnologica all’utilizzatore per la prima fase della
messa in produzione e l’ottimizzazione del processo dei getti ottenuti. La ditta costruisce stampi prioritariamente
per i settori: Automotive, elettromeccanica e idraulica.
The company concentrates mainly on moulds for the production of particularly critical die-cast pieces which require
special production skills. The company does not only supply the product, but also supports the user in the initial production
start-up phase and in the optimisation of the die-cast production process. Our company produces mainly
moulds for the automotive, electromechanical and hydraulic sector.
Unsere Firma stellt hauptsächlich Formen für Gussteile mit besonders kritischen Eigenschaften her. Unsere Firma
liefert nicht nur die Formen, sondern sie bietet dem Benutzer ihre Unterstützung in der ersten Phase des Inbetriebsetzens
bzw. zur Optimierung des Gussteil-Herstellungsprozesses. Die Firma stellt meistens Formen für das Automobil-,
das elektromechanische und das hydraulischen Sektor her.
