Events Anuga FoodTec,

Events Anuga FoodTec, Cologne, Hall 10.1, Booth D-061 Container Handling: Performance. Flexibility. Hygienic Design Daxner realizes high-tech plant solutions for the handling of powders and granulates worldwide. For the high quality and hygiene standards in the food sector, Daxner developed the agile and flexible container handling systems DCS. During the entire manufacturing process, the raw materials are transported in a fully automated and at the same time gentle way in a closed container system - optionally in combination with laser-controlled automated guided vehicles (AGVs) or a combination with a storage and retrieval system, chain conveyors and shuttle systems. A system concept individually tailored to the customer ensures transparency of the material flow, so that the risk of crosscontamination of the end product can be absolutely minimized. At the same time, high throughput rates are possible. A fully automated container system ensures high throughput, precise dosing and allergen-free handling of components. Products and batches can be changed any time with minimal effort. CIP or COP cleaning systems (wet cleaning) of the DCS (Daxner container systems) minimizes cleaning durations as well as cleaning effort and maximizes plant availability. Due to avoiding cross-contamination, we achieve utmost product quality and safety. fmt Anuga FoodTec, Cologne, Hall 5.2, Booth D-031 Compact Hygiene Stations Kohlhoff Hygienetechnik, Unna, Germany, always equips its compact hygiene stations developed for the food industry as well as for large slaughterhouses and cutting plants with high-performance and reliable components, thus meeting the special requirements for resilience and functional safety of these companies. At the beginning of the model year 2022, the compact hygiene stations of the HD-Line model series, designed for multi-shift operations with very high running cycles, were functionally as well as ergonomically optimized in several areas, in order to be able to continue to guarantee product characteristics as outlined above at the highest level. This includes the EK 800 entrance control device used in these systems, which is now being equipped with the new, state-of-the-art HDE 15 display control. This makes the menu navigation easy to handle and the parameter settings can be entered in plain text in a userfriendly manner. The systems can be remotely serviced. The positioning of the ultrasonic sensors in the newly shaped railing and the use of a new multifunctional LED display, each of which provides the user with visual information on the use and maintenance of the system in different colors, improve reliability, as does the more effective splash guard achieved through higher lateral shielding of the brushes of the walk-through sole cleaning machine. The particularly wear-resistant new mechanics of the turnstile lock on the EK 800 entrance control device as well as the extremely robust construction of all systems in the HD-Line model series offer their users safety and a long service life. fmt 42 food Marketing & Technology • April 2022

Events Anuga FoodTec, Cologne, Hall 8.1, Booth C-080 Energy-Efficient Vacuum Solutions The vacuum experts from Busch will also be presenting their pioneering solutions, which can be used in all production steps of food production, storage or the transport of food and beverages. Every application in the food industry is individual and requires a perfectly suited vacuum solution. In food refrigeration, vacuum drying or pneumatic conveying of food, different requirements are placed on the vacuum supply. Depending on the application, particularly lowmaintenance technologies, vacuum generators with small operating costs or the most energy-efficient solutions possible can be used. Centralizing the vacuum supply enables additional savings potential in the food industry, as the high energy costs for cooling food can be reduced. Switching to new vacuum technologies can become even more worthwhile with a subsidy. This is because upgrading to modern technologies is subsidized by the German Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA). This also applies to energy-efficient vacuum generators from Busch. The vacuum experts will be informing visitors at Anuga FoodTec about the subsidy potential of their vacuum solutions and thus highlighting further savings potential. With the COBRA NX 0950 A PLUS, Busch will be showing its new forwardlooking screw vacuum pump, which can be used in many applications in the food and beverage industry. This is a dry vacuum pump that operates extremely energy-efficiently under pressure control or at constant speed. The PLUS technology combines Busch’s many years of experience with innovative functions for Industry 4.0. As a fully connected vacuum pump, the COBRA PLUS expands the proven screw vacuum technology with control, condition monitoring and communication options. All important parameters can be adjusted and monitored, allowing the vacuum pump to be optimally set and used for individual processes. fmt > extruders > feeders > components > pneumatic conveying > complete systems ZSK FOOD EXTRUDER.
