Aon's partnership with APDC and Experis resulted in the 3rd edition of the study "Nearshore Portugal: Trends in Talent Management". The initiative involved 45 companies, which employ a workforce of around 65,000, and aimed to find out the new challenges of human resource management in the sector, which has seen significant development in recent years.

Analyzing the skills profile of the workforce, in terms of soft skills, Team spirit (78%) and Adaptability (65%) stand out with greater representation. Regarding hard skills, Mobile and Web development (49%), Project management (49%) and Customer service (44%) stand out. Workforce NEARSHORE PORTUGAL - Tendências na gestão de talento When questioned about whether these profiles coincide with the desired one (from 1 – Not at all coincident to 5 – Completely coincident), 47% of the companies refer to the existence of alignment between the current Soft & Hard profiles and the intended ones, and only 25% refer to there being little to some alignment, which allows us to identify room for improvement in this topic. In fact, only 24% of the companies’ state that the Soft & Hard profiles are fully aligned with what is intended.
