I NEWS I ADVERTORIAL Jeonbuk Technopark displays XR and holograms, from digital art to XR gaming chairs with 3D sound and vibration Visitors to IFA 2023 are invited to step into the future at the Jeonbuk Technopark in Hall 27 and experience XR and hologram technology coming to life. Examples of this cutting-edge technology is being showcased by 10 companies, affiliated with the XR Material Component Equipment Support Center and the Hologram Contents Service Center of South Korea. Thanks to their success at IFA so far, several of these companies will meet with the Extended Reality Berlin-Brandenburg association for advancing XR industries on 6th September. These companies are the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology, Korea Electronics Technology Institute, KIEL Institute and Jeolabukdo Contents Convergence Agency. "Jeonbuk Technopark is delighted to announce the forthcoming signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with XRBB at the upcoming meeting," a spokesperson said. "This significant step aims to cultivate robust relationships within the extended reality industry, fostering closer ties between South Korea and the Berlin- Brandenburg region." The chair comprises builtin speakers and sound wave vibrators which immerse users into 720° soundscapes and vibrations playing in synchronisation with objects on the screen it is connected to JEONGWAN COMPANY The "Gategram" by Holoway boasts a revolutionary display concept in the form of transparent LCD holograms. Companies can take their advertising to the next level with its eye-catching hologram displays. It can be placed all over: kiosks, art galleries, museums and on the street MODEL SOLUTION This company uses AR to improve safety, productivity, and efficiency in the workplace with its digital MS-AR20SE and MS-AR Binocular device. The head-mounted display shares what employees can see first-hand with other team members, for example for safety and quality control issues. Professionals of industries such as education, manufacturing and healthcare can benefit from the technology which focuses on functions such as Remote Assist, IoT, digital visualisation, digital workflow and safety checklist KHOLO Visitors can experience some of the world's first layered hologram art on display at the KHolo stand. The digital frame can display two layers of art simultaneously, such as a 3D or hologram image on top of video footage. Not only can the device be used to display art, but also in schools.
