KITCHEN LIFESTYLE PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT GRUNDIG LAUNCHES DISHWASHER @ IFA Grundig says that one of its most important announcements at IFA is the launch of its new dishwasher, available in freestanding and built-in Christian Struck, Director of Marketing and Communication at Grundig Intermedia GmbH, says: “The big advantages of this machine include the cutlery tray that can be moved to the side, making it easy for the basket below to enter high glasses, which otherwise are very hard to fit into a dishwasher.” Users can also lower the basket, to create a larger space for glasses. Grundig says the dishwasher is both water and energy efficient, and has a lot of space inside in general, with up to 14 place settings, and 164 pieces that can be placed inside. » HALL 23 / Stand 101 KEY SELLING POINTS 1 Easy to move cutlery draw means tall glasses can be placed easily on upper basket 2 Very big space 3 Low energy consumption LG EXTENDS STEAM TECHNOLOGY LG says its new SteamClean dishwasher sets itself apart from the competition with steam technology that not only cleans more effectively, but also more efficiently. With years of steam technology experience gathered from its clothing care products such as washing machines and the Styler, LG says the dishwasher emits high temperature steam to clean everything from delicate stemware to steel pots and pans. A Pre-Steam option gently removes caked layers of food residue, eliminating the need to scrub items by hand before placing them in the dishwasher. By spraying the contents with steam at the end of a cycle, LG says the SteamClean dishwasher reduces undesirable water spots – one of the most frequently mentioned complaints among dishwasher owner by 40%. » HALL 18 / Stand 101 KEY SELLING POINTS 1 Features QuadWash, which uses four spray arms instead of the two featured in most washers 2 Powered by the Inverter Direct Drive Motor, which increases energy efficiency and helps reduce noise 3 EasyRack+ system allows users to adjust the height of the rack to three different levels to accommodate all dishes, cups and flatware www.ifa-international.org IFA International • Saturday 2 nd & Sunday 3 rd September 2017 45
