Also a identification plate will be mounted on the bottom of the hand pump. Packaging and Transport 3.1 Packaging The components of the unit are packed separately. The packaging material consists mainly of cardboard and plastic and is an integral part of the shipment. The packaging may not be subjected to additional stress beyond carrying its contents. The packaging as well as its contents should be protected against any influences of humidity. The transport as well as the storage temperature must be –20°C to + 40°C / -4° to +104°F. 3.2 Transportation Damage If transport damage is found when inspecting the unit, the following procedure should be adopted: // To Accept under protest, make a note on the delivery document // Notify delivery service (forwarder, railway etc.) // Prepare damage report // Inform manufacturer 3.3 Storage The storage of the unit in an excessively moist surrounding or outdoors can lead to corrosion damage or other damages for which we can accept no liability. The transport- as well as the storage temperature of –20°C to +40°C must be kept. 4. Unit Installation All rules and regulations valid for the unit itself must be observed and respected. The place of installation should be inspected prior to installation to be able to ensure the operation for the personnel as well as for the unit itself.
