<strong>PCSP</strong> Corporate <strong>Guidelines</strong> - 2012 5<br />

Day-to-day <strong>use</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>logo</strong><br />

Within this guidance a range <strong>of</strong> templates have been provided which show <strong>the</strong><br />

positioning <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>PCSP</strong> <strong>logo</strong> <strong>for</strong> day to day to <strong>use</strong> – e.g., on stationery. As a<br />

general rule <strong>the</strong> <strong>PCSP</strong> <strong>logo</strong> should assume <strong>the</strong> primary position. Any o<strong>the</strong>r <strong>logo</strong>s<br />

(e.g., Council, IIP, facebook etc.) should be positioned at <strong>the</strong> foot <strong>of</strong> materials.<br />

Use <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Department</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Justice</strong> and Policing Board <strong>logo</strong><br />

As <strong>the</strong> funding partners <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>PCSP</strong>s, <strong>the</strong> DOJ and NIPB <strong>logo</strong> should appear on all<br />

external communications. This includes <strong>the</strong> <strong>PCSP</strong> website and all project related<br />

material such as signage, branding, leaflets etc.<br />

The <strong>PCSP</strong> <strong>logo</strong> should remain <strong>the</strong> prominent <strong>logo</strong>, with <strong>the</strong> DOJ and NIPB in<br />

a supporting position, occupying a similar area <strong>of</strong> volume and be <strong>of</strong> equal<br />

prominence. The DOJ and NIPB <strong>logo</strong> should always appear beside each o<strong>the</strong>r.<br />

Partner <strong>logo</strong>s and co-branding<br />

Due to <strong>the</strong> nature <strong>of</strong> <strong>PCSP</strong>s, it is recognised that partner <strong>logo</strong>s will also have to be<br />

accommodated. This is likely to be one or more <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> three designated bodies<br />

(PSNI, Housing Executive and <strong>the</strong> Probation Board) and/or voluntary/community<br />

groups etc.<br />

<strong>PCSP</strong> led initiatives<br />

The <strong>PCSP</strong> <strong>logo</strong> should be <strong>the</strong> prominent <strong>logo</strong> with partner <strong>logo</strong>s in a<br />

supporting position.<br />

Partners <strong>logo</strong>s should sit alongside each o<strong>the</strong>r, occupy a similar area <strong>of</strong><br />

volume and be <strong>of</strong> equal prominence. With regards to positioning,<br />

supporting <strong>logo</strong>s should usually sit somewhere below <strong>the</strong> <strong>PCSP</strong> <strong>logo</strong>.<br />

<strong>PCSP</strong> as a partner<br />

Where <strong>the</strong> <strong>PCSP</strong> is a partner in an initiative led by ano<strong>the</strong>r organisation, <strong>the</strong> <strong>logo</strong><br />

will be <strong>use</strong>d in a supporting capacity and should sit alongside o<strong>the</strong>r co-brands<br />

ra<strong>the</strong>r than below.<br />

<strong>PCSP</strong>s working in partnership<br />

Where two <strong>PCSP</strong>s are working in partnership on an initiative and are sending<br />

out material jointly, <strong>the</strong> <strong>logo</strong>s should receive equal prominence.
