1 DESIGN AND FUNCTION2GENERAL TECHNICAL DATA3MEASUREMENT OUTPUTStable 2:CPT Quantometers have beendesigned in order to provideour customers with reliableand inexpensive measuringinstruments for secondary flowmeasurements. Our great experience in designingand manufacturing ofturbine and rotary gas metersresulted in the developmentof industrial quantometers.Taking into account our customers’demands we createdthe instrument with excellentmetrological characteristicsand operating performanceclose to performances of theturbine gas meters designedfor custody transfer measurements.Other advantages of the CPTQuantometers are as follows:high quality, easy maintenance, wide range of external devicesthat can co-operate with thequantometers, e.g. volumecorrectors, data loggers, datatransmission systems.Due to that the CPTQuantometers are wellaccepted by our domesticand foreign customers. The basic componentsof the CPT Quantometerare as follows:pressure resistantmeter bodyinlet flow conditionermeasuring cartridge withthe turbine wheelmagnetic coupling as thetransferring elementbetween measuringcartridge and the indexindex headmm506580100150200DNinch22,53468G406565100100160250160250400400650100010001600Maximumflow Q max[m 3 /h]651001001601602504002504006506501000160016002500Minimumflow Q min[m 3 /h]6101088132013203232508080130LFpulse rate[m 3 /pulse]0,111111010PRESSURE OUTPUTThe operating pressure (reference pressure) can be taken from the pressure tap, marked pr, located on one side of the meter body.PULSE SENSORSThe mechanical index unit indicates the actual volume of the measured gas at operatingtemperature and operating pressure. It can be rotated axially by 350° in order tofacilitate the readings and enable easier connection of pulse sensor plugs. The index unit is provided with one low frequency LFK reed contact pulse transmitter,as a standard.
