Meda GateDeveloped by Vitra in SwitzerlandDesign: Alberto MedaEngineer and designer Alberto Medahas created a chair system forwaiting areas called Meda Gate.His aim was to facilitate superiorcomfort as well as ease of maintenance.Simultaneously, he wantedto fashion a system in a sleek,minimalist style with the lightweightand extremely elegant appearancethat has become his trademark. Thetechnical sophistication of Meda Gateis not immediately apparent. Thesystem is easy to put together andis also extremely durable.Superior comfortThe system’s innovative construction, whichfeatures cantilever seats, offers users superiorcomfort, even when they are required towait for extended periods of time.Meda Gate is discreet, functional and comfortable.Elegant appearanceMeda Gate’s subtle shape gives it both alightweight and elegant appearance.
