De thuisverpleegkundigen verstrekken verpleegkundige<br />
en hygiënische verzorging aan huis. Dit kan op voorschrift<br />
van de huisarts, zo nodig meermaals per dag.<br />
Bepaalde referentieverpleegkundigen worden ook door het<br />
Riziv erkend voor hun specialiteit, namelijk wondzorg en<br />
diabetes.<br />
