2.3 ADJUSTMENT OPTIONS<br />
The clip hinge is located in the centre of the adjustment mechanism and<br />
connects the two tubes. The clip hinge is fitted with a knob with which the whole<br />
adjustment mechanism (one clip hinge and two ball joints) can be adjusted.<br />
The ball joints are located at the ends of the tubes at the point where the <strong>Edison</strong><br />
is attached to the back or seat element and the headrest plate. The sleeve of the<br />
ball joints has a recess for extra adjustment options.<br />
The <strong>Edison</strong> is supplied with a knob as standard. You can replace the knob with the cap nut<br />
supplied. The cap nut can be tightened or loosened with a no. 13 spanner.<br />

- Whether you are using the cap nut or the knob, you must leave the metal washer<br />
(a) and the plastic protective ring (b) in place.<br />
- Over-tightening the knob or the cap nut can split the sleeve on the ball joint.<br />
