L U M C Casus 4 (V) • Contact allergieën bij 50-75% van de patiënten met veneus ulcus aan het been • Vaak meerdere contact allergieën • Meest voorkomende contact allergenen zijn, geurstoffen (vooral ook perubalsem), wolalcoholen, lokale antibiotica, propyleen glycol, colofonium, conserveer middelen, rubber bestanddelen, corticosteroïden, desinfectantia • Reden van hoge incidentie: langdurig gebruik, huidbarrière beschadigd, sensibiliserend vermogen van verschillende therapeutica en wondproducten
L U M C Casus 4 (VI) • Geurstoffen kunnen o.a. in de emolliëntia zitten die op onderbeen aangebracht worden en in zepen • Wolalcoholen (lanolin alcohol, cetostearylalcohol, stearylalcohol, cetylalcohol, oleylalcohol, amerchol) in zepen, crèmes, sofratulle®, fucidin® intertulle • Hydrogels kunnen propyleen glycol bevatten • Hydrocolloiden kunnen pentaerythritol tetranitrate ester bevatten van een gehydrogeneerd hars, welke kruisreageert met colofonium (bv Duoderm E en ET, en Signal)
