According to the IMO resolution A535/13 and the Oil Pollution Act (OPA) of 1990<br />
section 4202 it is recommended that vessels of 400 Ft (122 mtr) and less shall have<br />
sufficient equipment of sorbent materials to handle remove 7 barrels (1100 litres) of oil<br />
while larger vessels must be equipped to take care of 12 barrels (1900 litres) of oil.<br />
In-land oil barges must be able to deal with at least 1 barrel (159 litres) of oil.<br />
These specially designed Oil Spill Response Kits contains oil adsorbents which are<br />
waterrepellent and are made of 100% Polypropylene. All products are cost-effective<br />
and adsorb 10 to 25 times its own weight.<br />
