CAREGUIDE We care for the garments we produce. We choose our materials very careful, but you can enjoy your clothing much more by following the instructions in the care label. 30 40 60 Washing 30°C 40°C fine wash normal wash Bleaching Any bleaching allowed 60°C normal wash Only oxygen/non-chlorine bleach allowed Wash by hand Max. 40 ˚C Do not bleach Drying Mild drying process Normal drying process Do not tumble dry Ironing Low temperature iron (max. 110°C) Moderate temperature iron (max. 150°C) Hot temperature iron (max. 200°C) Do not iron P P F W WASHING TIPS • Always read and follow the care label • Read and follow the instructions on your detergent pack • Use the recommended amount • Polar fleece and sweats can best be washed before wearing • Wash inside out • Close zippers before washing • Sort laundry by temperature in care label, 40 ºC, 60 ºC etc. • Wash dark colours separate • Don’t iron on decorations Professional Textile Care Professional dry cleaning normal process WASHING & THE ENVIRONMENT Washing and drying at home, accounts for 75% of the energy used in the lifecycle of a garment, so it is really an area in which you have an impact on the environment. We recommend that for best cleaning you wash your clothes at the temperature shown on the care label. However, in many cases where a garment really only needs to be refreshed rather than cleaned, it is ok to wash at 30ºC. Natural drying on a line or rack will reduce the amount of energy used in the aftercare Professional dry cleaning normal process Professional wet cleaning normal process Do not dry-clean process. However, it is not always practical, especially with Northern European weather and therefore many people use tumble driers. As with all domestic machinery buying a dryer that has a good energy rating will help to ensure you are using energy in the most efficient way. Water is a precious commodity. In order to help minimize your usage try the following: • ALWAYS WASH A FULL LOAD • PRE-WASHING IS NOT NEEDED FOR MOST GARMENTS • IF YOU HAVE A CONDENSER DRY, REUSE THE WATER – IT’S GREAT IN IRONS. 104
