Safety Locks : Type 96 DI Electronic Action
DESCRIPTION
Manufactured with pressure injected aluminium casing, steel locking pin, self-cleaning start up controls with
bimetal Ag.Sn. 90/10 rivets and transparent plastic cover to be able to see operation from outside.
These locks have a mechanical security interlocking device unlocking system in the centre of the latch. A latch
housing and contact plug has to be installed in the door. The latch housing is the part where the locking pin
enters, freeing the mechanical safety interlocking device
These locks only require a power supply at 24 V DC to their electronic circuit in order to operate the lock; the
installation of any type of retractable ram on the cabin is not required.
The electronic system controls the voltage and intensity received by the coil and once driven it fits it to a
situation of low consumption which holds its position infinitely, also controlling its temperature, in such a way
that when it reaches 70° it switches to stand by to avoid any damage. The entire process is visible from the outside
by means of three L.E.D.’s indicating the systems situation: a red L.E.D. indicates that the system is receiving
a power supply and it is ready for operation; an orange L.E.D. indicated that the coil is very hot and will not
work until the temperature goes down and a green L.E.D indicates that the system is receiving power supply and
the coil is operational.
