PULPIT
ROCK
09 10
The trail is well signposted with
red T’s and where there are no
other indicators designating the
path, cairns (or human-made
stacks of stones) provide guidance.
Depending on weather
and time of year, the rocks may
become slippery and there may
be patches of snow. There are
a number of more demanding
portions along the way, with
possibly the most challenging
at the very start. Chain railings
have been secured onto
the face of the steep rock and
along the trail for your safety
and support. Previous hiking
experience is recommended,
as well as a good physical
condition.
KJERAG
Join our hike to Kjerag and enjoy
the view from the Majesty
of Lysefjord. Maybe you would
dare to stand on the boulder.

KJERAG HIKE
AND
FJORD CRUISE
Beat the crowd to Kjerag and
join our early morning hike to
Kjerag. Starting with cruise at
Lysefjord you can relax and
enjoy the beautiful landscapes
around the fjord, Pulpit Rock
and Kjerag from sealevel.
Estimated pickup would be
05:00AM from Stavanger, from
your accommodation. Be ready
5 minutes before estimated
pick up time in front of your
main entrance.
Having reached the Kjerag plateau,
after 2 to 3 hours, we will
spend time enjoying the view.
Some may be courageous
enough to climb onto the bolt,
and if we are lucky, we may be
able to observe BASE jumpers
diving from cliffs and down to
Lysefjorden.

FLORLI 4444
Consider spending a day climbing
the world’s longest wooden
staircase? This hike will give
you good lookout points as we
climb higher and higher and a
scenic view at the top.
The boat trip is in itself a great
45 minute long experience that
provides the opportunity to see
Pulpit Rock from below, while
cruising on the Lysefjord
waters.

MOON
WATERFALL
Månafossen waterfall is with
its 90 metres in free fall the
tallest waterfall in the county
of Rogaland. The hike starts
at Eikeskog where the track is
combined with stair climbing
on the first part of the hike.
You’ll have some chains to hold
on to on the steepest areas,
however this is relatively easy.
On the way, there are facilitated
lookout points to see the falls.

PULPIT ROCK - WILD AND BEAUTIFUL
Our Pulpit Rock - Wild and
beautiful hike is a wonderful
option for the ones that are
looking for a peaceful and quiet
yet strenuous hiking experience
away from the crowds.
Unlike most Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen)
tours, this trail allows
breathtakingly scenic views
into both ends of the Lysefjord,
including views from and onto
Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) itself.
By hiking through the remote
backcountry that surrounds
Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) you
will come into close contact
with the Norwegian Nature and
get to enjoy the mountain landscape
in a unique way.
This trail ventures away from
the big crowds that commonly
occupy the official trail to Pulpit
Rock/ Preikestolen. Vast parts
of the trail weave through wild
terrain. It starts with an easy to
moderate technical level on a
little frequented sporadically
Once this path comes to an end,
the technical difficulty turns into
moderate to difficult; leading
through a great variety of different
wild terrains. Including rock
face, boulder areas, meadow
landscapes and ending in a
beautiful forest path.
