Rhinitis is a disease caused mainly by two agents, who are <strong>Conidiobolus</strong> <strong>sp</strong>. and<strong>Pythium</strong> <strong>insidiosum</strong>, which causes major economic losses e<strong>sp</strong>ecially in tropical areas andsubtropical.O present study aimed to evaluate the clinical and radiological features of theanimals treated at the HV / CSTR / UFCG, Patos. We used medical records from the periodJanuary 2006 to August 2010, with the occurrence of 14 cases of mycotic rhinitis in sheep. Ingeneral the main clinical findings were lethargy, anorexia, dehydration, dy<strong>sp</strong>nea, nasaldischarge, protrusion of the eyeball, facial deformity, and walking in circles. Mycotic rhinitisin rhinofacial infection, the animals developed radiographic changes such as increased densityof soft tissue and obstruction of the nasal meatus, followed by granulomatous formations.Already as nasopharynx, caracterized by swelling of soft tissues from ethmoidal shells,showing a higher radiopacity around the region of the orbital cavity.Keywords: rhinitis, sheep, clinical, epidemiological and radiological findings.
