Tanzania is a country in Africa which is
located on the East coast of the continent,
being washed by the Indian Ocean and
limiting to the North with Kenya, the
Northwest with Rwanda, Uganda and
Burundi, to the West by the Democratic
Republic of the Congo, to the Southwest
with Zambia and to the South by Malawi and
Mozambique. The Arabs and the Persians
were the first settlers of the area in the 17th
and 18th centuries. In World War I, the
British and the Germans were discussed by
area of the territory, which would be
controlled by London. The region only if it
was a sovereign State in 1964, through the
Union of the formation of the Federation of
Tanganyika and Zanzibar.
