In functie de temperatura, procesul aditiei electrofile conjugate poate decurge ca aditie 1,2 sau 1,4.<br />

EXEMPLU: Regioselectivitatea aditiei acidului bromhidric la 1,3-butadiena depinde esential de temperatura.<br />

deoarece se formeaza cu o viteza mai mare<br />

[E A(1-2) < E A(1-4)] decat produsul de aditie 1-4;<br />

produsul de aditie 1-2 provine din atasara<br />

Bromului la structura limita care reda un<br />

carbocation intermediar mai stabil.<br />

+ 40 o C<br />

Produsul de aditie 1-4 este larg majoritar<br />

deoarece este mai stabil termodinamic decat<br />

produsul de aditie 1-2, avand legatura dubla<br />

mai substituita. La + 40 o C, produsul de aditie 1-<br />

2 este instabil termodinamic, el transformanduse,<br />

treptat, in produs de aditie 1-4.<br />
