PRODUCT SAFETY RECALLProduct Safety <strong>Recall</strong> <strong>Notice</strong>: <strong>Castrol</strong> Oils Used in Two Stroke EnginesExample of Batch Number & Location<strong>Castrol</strong> is recalling some of its two-stroke (2T) product, sold in Europe from 3September 2012. We believe some of this product may be contaminated withwater and may cause engine seizure.Whilst <strong>Castrol</strong> 2T products have never been specifically approved orrecommended for use in 2 stroke engines that are used for recreational flightvehicles (i.e. Para gliders, powered hang gliders etc.), we have been made awaresome customers may purchase the product for this use. <strong>Castrol</strong> is recalling theproduct as a safety precaution. <strong>Castrol</strong> would like to reiterate that customersshould only use approved lubricants for their engines.See full list of products and batch numbers below.WHAT TO DOIf this product was purchased from 3 September then <strong>Castrol</strong> recommends youdrain down the engine, thoroughly flushing, check the engine manufacturersmanual and replace with an approved product.
