PARTY HOSTING TIPSSome other ways to ensure that all of yourguests get home safely:• As guests RSVP, confirm that at least one personin each group is prepared to be the non-drinkingdesignated driver.• Provide plenty of food to keep your guests fromdrinking on an empty stomach.• Avoid too many salty snacks, which tend to makepeople thirsty and drink more.• Offer non-alcoholic beverages or mocktails fordesignated drivers and others who prefer not todrink alcohol.• If preparing an alcoholic punch, use a noncarbonatedbase, like fruit juice.
