Viața este plăcută. Moartea este calmă. Tranziția este cea supărătoare (Isaac Asimov)
Tratarea arhitecturală a acestui program trebuie să fie diferită de a altora. Emoțiile intense și gravitatea interioară pe
care o poartă oamenii în aceste situații sunt unice. Dacă rolul arhitecturii este de a servi oamenilor și de a-i ajuta, atunci
acest program oferă o oportunitate unică arhitecturii de a avea un impact asupra stării interioare a „vizitatorilor” săi,
chiar dacă acesta este unul temporar.
Situl ales este „un gol” în pădure lângă lacul Rogozero. Acest „gol” este înconjurat pe trei laturi de teren abrupt. Dealurile
sunt acoperite de o pădure densă cu specii variate. Această cantitate de frunze creează un mediu bogat care își va
exprima frumusețea pe parcursul celor patru anotimpuri, schimbând în mod constant culorile, texturile și starea de spirit a
sitului, respectiv a atmosferei din crematoriu. Această schimbare a atmosferei mai este dată și de lumină, de aurora
boreală, un element natural foarte important pentru caracterul locului.
Nordul sitului caracterizat de diferențe mari de nivel și partea de sud, punctul cel mai jos „scăldat” de lac au dat
naștere unui traseu spiritual care va reflecta ideea de greutate emoțională. Situl se dezvăluie a fi un instrument valoros
pentru a facilita programul și viitoarele concepte arhitecturale, cu un potențial puternic pentru simbolism și imagine sacră.

The architectural aproach of this program must be different from others. The intense emotions and inner gravity that
people carry in these situations are unique. If the role of architecture is to serve people and help them, then this program
offers a unique opportunity for architecture to have an impact on the inner state of its "visitors", even if this is a temporary
one.
The chosen site is "an empty place" in the forest near Lake Rogozero. This "gap" is surrounded on three sides by steep
terrain. The hills are covered by a dense forest with varied species. This amount of leaves creates a rich environment that
will express its beauty throughout the four seasons, constantly changing the colors, textures and mood of the site and the
crematorium atmosphere. This change in the atmosphere is also given by the light, the aurora borealis, a very important
natural element for the character of the place.
The north of the site, characterized by large differences in level, and the south, the lowest point "bathed" by the lake,
gave birth to a spiritual route that will reflect the idea of emotional weight. The site is revealed to be a valuable tool to
facilitate the program and future architectural concepts, with a strong potential for symbolism and sacred imagery.
