Student vitalized to the Campaign with their<br />
pieces<br />
The students who ranked in the picture, composition and poetry competition organized by cooperation<br />
with <strong>Samsun</strong> Directorate of National Education in the framework of <strong>Samsun</strong> Has, Buy For <strong>Samsun</strong> project<br />
got their awards in the ceremony held in Chamber Assembly.<br />
They recei<strong>ve</strong>d their awards in the presence of the assembly<br />
According to the evaluation, Necati Can Yılmaz from 23 Nisan Elementary School came in first, from<br />
Derecik Elementary School Seçil Akduman came in second and Yasemin Konuş from 75.Yıl Elementary<br />
School came in third in painting competition that was held in primary education between class of 4<br />
and 5. Fatma Gonca from Kılavuzlu Şehit Niyazi Kaya Elementary School was deemed with Honorable<br />
Mention. Hülya Ertürk Koç -<strong>Samsun</strong> Provincial Director of National Education- presented the gifts and<br />
certificated to the students that came in the competition. In poetry contest that was realized in primary<br />
education between class of 6,7 and 8, from Asarcık Elementary School Ruken Eroğlu came in first, from<br />
Alaçam Cumhuriyet Elemantary School<br />
Müberra İnan came in second and from<br />
Kalkanca Elementary School Hatice Nursena<br />
Yücel came in third. Salih Zeki Murzioğlu-<br />
Chairman of the Board of <strong>Samsun</strong> Chamber<br />
of Commerce and Industry ga<strong>ve</strong> rewards to<br />
these students. Also in essay contest which<br />
was held in secondary school between class<br />
of 9,10,11 from Anatolian High School Büşra<br />
Cebe came in first, from Vezirköprü Industrial<br />
School Ekrem Duran came in second<br />
and from Yaşardoğu Multi Program High<br />
School Gülnur Elbir came in third. The<br />
awards were gi<strong>ve</strong>n by Sedat Demirci- President<br />
of the Assembly of <strong>Samsun</strong> Chamber of<br />
Commerce and Industry.<br />
Campaign of Public Offering<br />
A meeting was realized in <strong>Samsun</strong> Chamber of Commerce and Industry within the context of “Campaign of Public<br />
Offering” activities that is initiated by a protocol signed between Istanbul Stock Exchange(IMKB), Turkish Union of<br />
Chambers and Exchange Commodities (TOBB), Stock Exchange Commission (SPK) and Turkish Association of Capital<br />
Market Intermediary Institutions (TSPAKB) with the aim of increasing the rate of companies going public. In conference,<br />
entering capital markets and going public were laid emphasis on for regaining international<br />
competiti<strong>ve</strong>ness and taking place among global companies.<br />
<strong>Samsun</strong> has great potential<br />
Salih Zeki Murzioğlu, Chairman of the Board of <strong>Samsun</strong> Chamber of Commerce and Industry, told about properties<br />
<strong>Samsun</strong> has on his keynote speech and said “<strong>Samsun</strong> is a city of trade, industry, tourism, training and health.<br />
<strong>Samsun</strong> is energy base with its geographical position, 4 big hydroelectric plant, and access point in Turkey for blue<br />
stream line and with new energy in<strong>ve</strong>stments that are planned. <strong>Samsun</strong> is the only city in Blacksea Region and one<br />
of the 3 city in Turkey on being meeting point in transportation with its transportation infrastructure regarding road,<br />
sea, air and railway and also it is a logistics center. <strong>Samsun</strong> has 11 firms in the list of Turkey’s largest 1000 firms and<br />
it will ha<strong>ve</strong> a better position with its facilities, infrastructure and new in<strong>ve</strong>stments.<br />
