Değerli Okuyucularımız,
It‘s good that 2020 is coming to an end, and that relief is emerging
on the horizon. Alongside COVID-19 and other upheavals
and crises in the industry, this was anything but a normal financial
year.
The foundry industry, always an early indicator of
the overall economic development, has not been
spared and it is painful that we have to do without
a traditional trade fair event like the Ankiros in Istanbul.
Nevertheless, production continues worldwide and
most companies are holding on.
Nihayet 2020 yılının sonuna yaklaşıyor ve ufukta rahatlama belirtileri
görebiliyoruz. COVID-19 ve sektörümüzdeki diğer çalkantılar ve
krizler dikkate alındığında, bu yılı sıradan bir mali yıl olarak görmek
mümkün değildir.
Genel ekonomik gelişimin daima ilk göstergelerinden olan
döküm sektörü de bu olumsuz koşullardan payını almıştır.
Örneğin, İstanbul‘da gerçekleştirilen Ankiros gibi geleneksel
bir ticari fuar etkinliğinden mahrum kalmamız son derece
üzücüdür.
Buna rağmen, üretim dünya genelinde devam etmekte ve
çoğu şirket koşullara direnmektedir.
As we are currently learning from the Turkish
government, the weak economic development and
the dramatic currency devaluation in Turkey should
be significantly improved. The President announced price and
financial stability and, at the same time, macroeconomic security
and thus favorable conditions for long-term planning and
investment. In addition, the rule of law is to be strengthened, a
positive sign for economic success.
The Turkish foundries and mechanical engineering have fought
their way upwards with diligence, quality and reliability. Now,
it is important to be prepared for the time after the pandemic.
Digitization, new drives, visionary thinking and new concepts
determine the future, demanding from the foundry industry
that it accept changes actively and positively, and sees this as a
challenge to be met, to invest in the future. Casting is not only
tradition, but also high-tech and ecologically sustainable.

Türk hükümetinden, Türkiye‘deki zayıf ekonomik gelişimin
ve dramatik para birimi devalüasyonunun önemli ölçüde
iyileştirileceğine dair bilgiler almaktayız. Cumhurbaşkanı, fiyat
istikrarı ve mali istikrar ile birlikte makro ekonomik güven ve uzun vadeli
planlama ve yatırım için olumlu koşullar sağlanacağını duyurmuştur.
Buna ek olarak, hukukun üstünlüğünün güçlendirilecek olması ekonomik
başarı için olumlu bir işarettir.
Türk dökümcülüğü ve makine mühendisliği, özeni, kalitesi ve
güvenirliği sayesinde üst sıralara yükselmiştir. Artık pandemi
sonrasındaki dönem için hazır olmak önemlidir. Sayısallaştırma, yeni
ivmeler, ileriyi gören düşünce biçimleri ve yeni konseptler geleceği belirleyecektir.
Döküm sektörünün bu değişimleri aktif olarak ve olumlu
biçimde kabul etmesi ve bunları geleceğe yatırım amacıyla yerine
getirilmesi gereken birer görev olarak görmesi gerekecektir. Döküm,
gelenek olduğu kadar yüksek teknoloji ve ekolojik sürdürülebilirlik
anlamına da gelmektedir.
