SOMA MAKALA YAFUATAYO KISHA UJIBU MASWALI.<br />

Katika shairi ‘kichekesho’. Said Karama anazungumzia jamaa ambaye mchana huwasha taa na<br />

usiku hufua nguo kwa sababu ya kuchanganyikiwa na dawa za kulevya. Kumekuwa na visa nchini<br />

ambapo watu wamepofuka baada ya kubugia pombe iliyochanganywa na kemikali hatari.<br />

Kisa cha kusikitisha kilikuwa cha yule bwana ambaye alipofuka kwa ghafla wakati akinywa<br />

pombe.kwa sababu kulikuwa usiku alisikika akiuliza ‘mbona mnatuzimia taa ?’kumbe upofu<br />

ulikuwa unaingia !<br />

Ulanguzi wa dawa za kulevya ni swala nyeti katika kizazi chetu.hivi majuzi polisi wa Kenya<br />

walinasa mihadarati ya aina ya ‘ cocaine’ yenye thamani ya mabilioni ya pesa.<br />

Dawa hizi zina madhara makubwa sana hasa ya kiafya. Silabasi mpya inahimiza waandishi na<br />

wachapishaji wazungumzie swala la dawa za kulevyia kinaga ubaga na walipe ufumbuzi. Swala hili<br />

linaweza kusukwa kwa urahisi katika vitabu vya lugha iwe ya Kiswahili au kingereza. Mashairi na<br />

nyimbo za kukejeli ulanguzi wa dawa za kulevya ni nyenzo bora. Pia hadithi fupi, riwaya na<br />

tamthilia zionyeshe wazi madhara ya dawa za kulevya .<br />

Madhara haya ni mengi na ni tofauti kulingana na aina ya dawa inayotumiwa. Kuna dawa<br />

zinazoathiri akili na kusababisha wazimu hasa ule wa kuokota karatasi barabarani. Nyingine<br />

husababisha magonjwa kama kansa, magonjwa ya moyo na mengineyo.<br />

Isitoshe, dawa hizi humfanya mtu awe na uraibu usioachika kwa urahisi. Mtu anapozoea dawa<br />

fulani. Mwili wake hutegemea dawa hiyo kila siku na hawezi kufanya lolote bila bila dawa hiyo.<br />

Utumwa! La kusikitisha ni kuwa dawa hizi hazipatikani bure na ni ghali sana. Mbali na kuzorotesha<br />

wa kiafya, huwazorotesha kiuchumi.<br />

Taasisi ya Elimu ya Kenya (K.I.E) inastahili kupongezwa kwa kusuka swala hili sugu katika<br />

silabasi. Hata wanaposoma Kiswahili, Hesabu au Jiografia, wanafunzi kukumbushwa madhara ya<br />

dawa za kulevya.<br />

Swala lingine linaloibuka , ni maadili mema yanayosisitizwa katika silabasi mpya. Swala hili ni<br />

muhimu sana kwani katika utamaduni wa kiafrika maadili yalisifiwa katika ngano , nyimbo na<br />

methali. Watu waliofanya matendo yasiokubalika katika jamii walitungiwa nyimbo za masimango<br />

wawe mifano kwa wengine.

Silbasi mpya inaangazia pia swala la ufisadi katika juhudi za kupatia maadili kipaumbele. Tabia<br />

mbaya ya kutoa na kupokea hongo lazima ikomeshwe kwa njia zote. Waandishi hutumia mifano<br />

mwafaka kudunisha na kukejeli tabia hiyo ili watoto wakue na maadili mema . Hii ni njia mwafaka<br />

ya kupigana na tabia iliyokita mizizi katika jamii yetu ya kuzunguka mbuyu. Wahenga walisema<br />

kwamba kambare mkunje angali mbichi na ni vizuri tubadilishe tabia za watoto wakiwa wadogo<br />

kabla ya kuwa wananchi sugu wa nchi ya kitu kidogo ‘ wanapenda kula mlungula.<br />

Ufisadi ni jinamizi kubwa katika serekali na jamii nzima. Tumesikia kesi za watu wachache<br />

wanaoiba kwa kalamu mabilioni ya pesa waweke mifukoni mwao wakati wakenya wengine<br />

wanakosa hata chakula cha kila siku. Wafisadi wanamithilishwa vizuri na Shaaban Robert katika<br />

kitabu chake ‘Kusadikika’ ambapo anaangazia kiini cha vitu vingine lakini kila dakika alilia. ‘kiu ,<br />

njaa’ Kiini cha ufisadi ni ulafi hata kama mtu yuko na vitu vyote anavyohitaji.<br />

Kuna swala lingine la stahamala. Silabasi mpya inahimiza waandishi na wachapishaji wasisitize<br />

stahamala ili watu waishi pamoja hata kama wametofautiiana kama ardhi na mbingu hasa katika<br />

maswala ya kidini. Stahamali ni muhimu nchini Kenya nchi , nchi yenye makabila mbalimbali<br />

zaidi ya arubaini. Lengo moja la kitaifa la elimu katika silabasi ni kuchangia umoja wa kimataifa<br />

kwa kuleta makabila yote pamoja kielimu. Shule ndio mahali pazuri sana pa kumaliza ukabila<br />

kwani wanafunzi kutoka makabila mbalimbali hukutana na kushirikiana.<br />

zipo tele. Binadamu ametumia nyambizi kuzuru chini ya bahari: amefika mwezini; amevumbua<br />

mangala: amevumbua uyoka: amevumbua tarakilishi na shughuli zake ni za kutandaridhi.<br />

Mwenyewe yuasema kuwa dunia yake imekuwa kitongoji katika muumano huu.<br />

Chambacho wavyele, akili nyingi huondoa maarifa. Binadamu amekuwa dubwana linalojenga<br />

kushoto na kubomoa kulia na tuna sababu ya kulisoza dubwana hili kidole. Rabana ndiye msanii<br />

asiye mfanowe kwani alisawiri dunia kwa kila lililo jema kwa siku sita mtawalia na kumpa<br />

binadamu mazingara murua. Rabuka akaona yote yalikuwa mema na mazuri, akamwambia<br />

binadamu, “Haya, twende kazi!’<br />

Viwanda vya binadamu vinatiririsha maji-taka ovyo hadi mitoni, maziwani na baharini na matokeo<br />

yamekuwa ni vifo vya viumbe vya majini kama samaki ambavyo ni urithi aliyopewa na Muumba.<br />

Hakuna kiumbe kinachoweza kustahimili maisha bila maji safi. Maji yote sasa yametiwa sumu na<br />

binadamu kwa sababu ya ‘maendeleo’ yake. Joshi kutoka katika viwanda vivyo hivyo nalo linahsiri<br />

ukanda wa ozoni ambao sasa umeruhusu jua kutahasari kwa joto kali mno. Siku hizi inasemekana<br />

kuwa mvua ya asidi inayonyesha katika baadhi ya sehemu za dunia kuleta madhara makubwa.<br />

Labda hata mabahari yamekasirika kwa sababu hivi majuzi katika kila kilichoitwa ‘tsunami’, bahari<br />

lilihamia nchi kavu na kusomba maelfu ya binadamu nakuwaweza wazima wazima. Vimbuga<br />

navyo vimetokea kwa wingi. Wataalamu wanasema kuwa viwango vya miyeyuko vitazidi kwa<br />

sababu ya joto na kiwango cha maji kitazidi pia. Binadamu atatorokea wapi?

Idadi ya binadamu imezidi hadi kiasi asichoweza kukishughulikia kwa sababu anaijaza kiholela<br />

kwa sabu anadai kuwa aliruhusiwa wa kuijiaza. Hii ni imani potovu. Anasahau kuwa alipewa<br />

ubongo kwa kuwaza nakuwazua kabla ya kufanya chochote. Dhiki, maradhi na ufukara<br />

zimechamia kwa binadamu na kumtia kiwewe.<br />

Binadamu amefyeka misitu kwa kutaka makao, mashamba, mbao, makala, ujenzi wa nyumba na<br />

barabara na mahitaji mengine mengi. Wanyama wamefurushwa na wengi kuangamia kwa sababu<br />

ya ukosefu wa chakula na wengine kushindwa kuhimili mabadiliko katika mazingira. Chemichemi<br />

za maji zimekauka nalo jangwa limeanza kutuzuru kwa kasi inayotisha. Kazi ya binadamu<br />

imekuwa ya kukusia kamba motoni. Itambidi aanze kujenga kwa matofali ya barafu!<br />
