Membranes
It’s not only the material determining the functionality of a glove. There are as
well intelligent constructions upgrading its value.
Having nicely warm hands and a ringing mobile phone are two things that in winter rarely
get along with each other. Handling a mobile phone with touch screen while wearing gloves
is nearly impossible. The Reusch TOUCH-TEC technology comes up with a solution. A
special yard surrounding the tips of thumb and index finger provides a perfect connection
and simplifies the use of any smartphone without removing the gloves.

X-TRAFIT product technology
Weather resistance and maximum grip
The X-TRAFIT product technology provides best comfort and tactility for piste, park, pipe
and racing gloves! Making the glove durably waterproof, windproof and extremely breathable
it ensures a controlled grip on the ski pole. The technical design of implementing the
membrane is based on a process, in which the different layers are interconnected and
fixated by special grip tapes. Due to the fixation, the layers are being held together. Grip
stays firm, direct and controlled while maintaining a soft and flexible feel.
GORE-TEX ®
The all-weather membrane
The GORE-TEX ® membrane excels through a tremendous concentration of pores. Integrated
between shell material and lining, it makes any glove durably waterproof, windproof and
extremely breathable. Hands stay warm and are protected against all weather conditions
in an ideal manner.
Down Chamber System
Already down insulation itself provides a maximum of warmth. However this can be even
intensified by the way of storing the down feathers inside the glove. Beside the usual down
bag with separate quilted rooms, we make use of a very special construction called chamber
system. Here thermal bridges (the coldest spots) are avoided to provide even more heat.
The connecting walls get wider and therefore more air and with it heat can be stored.
Additionally the walls are diagonal, which intensifies this warming effect.
The high-performance membrane
R-TEX ® XT is a highly stretchable insert, developed by Reusch that adapts to the special
needs of the hand. It guarantees breathability and complete weather resistance against
cold, wind, and humidity. R-TEX ® XT is comfortable to wear and provides unlimited ease
of movement.
Wind Resistant
Due to the ¨wind chill-factor¨ while going downhill, temperatures often feel colder than they
actually are. In light of this common effect, Reusch has developed a technology, which
serves as a wind breaker, STORMBLOXX .
Unlike insert-membranes, STORMBLOXX is laminated on the inside of the shell material,
which makes the glove windproof, water repellent, and fast-drying. At the same time, the
elastic and soft STORMBLOXX membrane is highly breathable.
