HD 2009 will be held at penzion M hotel (http://www.penzion-m.cz/), which lies on the left bank of
the Vranov dam, 25 min walking from the Vranov nad Dyjí village (http://www.penzion-m.cz/12-
kontakt/). Coordinates: 48,9134°N, 15,8186°E.
How to get there
By car – from Prague follow the D1 highway to exit no. 112 (direction to Jihlava), turn right and
keep driving direction to Znojmo; in Vranovská ves turn right (direction Vranov nad Dyjí) and keep
driving roughly 4 km and after village turn again to the right, pass village Štítary and turn left just
after this village, where big sign Vranovská pláž will appear. Take this road and follow the signs to
Penzion M.
- from České Budějovice - via Jindřichův Hradec, Dačice and Jemnice, before village Štítary
turn right, where big sign Vranovská pláž will appear. Take this road and follow the signs to Penzion
M.
- from Brno and Bratislava – Drive to Znojmo and from this city keep driving direction to Vranov
nad Dyjí, in village Lesná turn right direction Štítary. Pass village Štítary and turn left just after this
village, where big sign Vranovská pláž will appear. Take this road and follow the signs to Penzion M.
There are parking places next to the hotel.
By public transport – there is regular bus connection to Vranov nad Dyjí from Znojmo.
(to find the requeated connection use www.idos.cz). From the bus station Vranov nad Dyjí, náměstí
go through village to the Vranov dam, pass the dam embankment and the bridge over the cove (just
for pedestrians!!) to penzion M.
