I’ve written about Larry Scott before and know he still stirs interest in our sport, perhaps like no
one else. Larry was the first of a new era in bodybuilding. His looks, personality, presentation and
build caught the attention of people all over the world. Many continue to ask about his training
and seek insight into his personal life. In addition to the works of others, I wrote “Larry Scott
Article” and posted it on my website. The article can be found in the Articles Section or by the

many questions and comments this article continues to receive.
For those who can’t get enough of the “Great One”, the following are words from Larry’s own
mouth. Peary Rader was long respected for publishing honest and accurate information in his
magazine “IronMan”. It is also noteworthy to see that Irvin Johnson was the individual who
conducted the inveiw. As most know, Irvin later became known as Rheo H Blair.
Just for some additional reflections of the past, at the end of the interview I’ve included two
