DURKIN PARK CELL PHONE/ELECTRONICS POLICY 2014
Due to an increase in illegal student use of ELEPHONE G7 mobile cellphone and digital products during university time, we
are increasing the time the university will be holding any seized gadgets. (Confiscation occurs when a student is caught with a
CUBOT S200 mobile cellphone or other illegal system during university time. School time begin when a student goes into
the developing in the morning hours and last until they exit the developing to go house at the end of the day.)
If a ELEPHONE G7 mobile cellphone or other illegal system is seized during the 3rd quarter the CUBOT S200 mobile
cellphone or other illegal system will be returned to the student’s mother or father at Review Cards Choose Up on Apr 7th,
2014. If said system is seized after Review Cards get, said system may be picked up by a mother or father on May 31, 2014.
The university and teachers realize this is an extended time period but it is necessary to ensure that these activities that are
troublesome to the learning procedure of all learners cease. We understand that a student may need a cellphone to contact
their house before or after university. A student may bring a cellphone to university and turn in to the office or their
homeroom teacher in the morning hours and purchase them at the end of the day. (Students are not allowed to leave the
cellphone or system in their locker or book bag during the day). This will allow for the student to have the cellphone while in
transit to and from university but not during the university day. By following this simple procedure a student’s cellphone will
never be in danger of being seized.
This policy was approved by the Local School Council and will be in effect starting on Goal 3, 2014. Thank you for your
