Looking Forward in an East Coast One Design (ECOD) (Oil on linen 2004. 76 x 167cmm) Designed by G U Laws in 1913, only ten were built, all by William King of Burnham-on-Crouch. Gigi was design no. 9. I see them as miniatures of the impressive J Class yachts which many of the local fishermen crewed in the summer months.
