Unit 3 Sharing Resources and Open Applications ## The Discussions in this course include several components. You
may not be able to address all of these questions in a single post. You will need to plan to return to the Discussion
several times during the week to weigh in on the questions. Please make sure you do so as part of both original posts as
well as in replies to your classmates. Remember that your grade for the Discussion Board comprises both original
postings and your contributions through replies. Both are great places to introduce new information, opinions, links, etc.;
and both are equally important to your grade. You are required to reply to and interact with your colleagues in both parts.
Your initial posts to both instructor-led responses should contain a minimum of two to three peer-reviewed references. A
minimum of one follow-up post should contain one to two references. In this Discussion, you will present two specific
examples of shared resources or tools for your teachers. In your post, identify the 2 resources you intend to focus on
and include the following information for each: Appropriate grade level/subject area professional development or
training needed to learn Administrative area, or field of interest supported by the resource Network needs to support
the resource These may be familiar tools like Google Docs, or they may be more obscure and specific to a field or
subject, like a SharePoint site or a library or gallery collection. Please use the edshelf.com website for exploring and
locating resources. You will now need to present one of these resources to the teachers in your school/district. Create a
google slides presentation for your teachers that includes the information outlined below. Avoid using too much text, and
include graphics, videos, audio, or screenshots to make it easier for teachers to visualize this resource and the
implementation you are proposing. Share the google slides link in your post, making sure that you have set your sharing
settings so that anyone with a link can view. In your presentation include the following: Identify the resource you are
introducing Briefly explain how the resource would be implemented in a K12 school environment. Is this for their use at
home and school? Will they use it on their desktop computers, laptops or tablets or smartphones? Will their information
be synced up in all locations automatically? Explain how teachers and students (if applicable) will be trained. How will
you provide support for the end users?
