In a city as cramped as Mumbai, getting even a gasp of fresh air can be a task. Not<br />
only because the percentage of green spaces is very low(almost 6%), but also simply<br />
because people are too busy to even notice how they probably have not been in a<br />
space that helps them breathe fresh since a long time.<br />
My design of the "Management institue at Juhu, Vile Parle" is focused on getting that<br />
gasp of fresh air to the campus. I have done this by incorporating terrace gardens at all<br />
levels to not only create vertical interaction zones, but to also let the building breathe.<br />
This is done by reducing the floor plate as we go upstairs.<br />
