My name is <strong>Lucy</strong> <strong>Johnson</strong> and I'm a furniture designer. I'm passionate about all 3D design and am also a keen photographer who loves to<br />
knit.<br />
Born in Kent, raised in Malaysia and educated in India, I am now based in London where I am currently studying for a BA in Furniture<br />
Design. This is not my first degree though. In 2008, I graduated from the University of East Anglia with a degree in Law before moving to<br />
Edinburgh to spend three wonderful years working in the Charity Sector. However, this was not where I envisioned myself in the future and<br />
I made the decision to study what I really love - design.<br />
What I love about building furniture is the hands on approach. Everything I design, I make - which generally means that I get the<br />
opportunity to explore and experiment to find unique solutions. Additionally, because I construct what I draw, I have a solid understanding<br />
of manufacturing processes as well as a strong knowledge of feasible design.
