Day 1: Holiday Inn Melbourne on Flinders, Melbourne (Thu, 8 September) 

Melbourne 

Arrive at Melbourne International Airport by Air India AI-308 at 0600 Hrs. After arrival formalities meet 

with our representative who will assist you for your transfer to your hotel. 

Melbourne is a modern metropolis located on the banks of the Yarra River and known for its many 

gardens, parks and open spaces, which together occupy almost one third of the city. There are more 

than 50 000 plant species in Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens and this collection gives insight into 

the rich indigenous flora found in the city and its surrounds. The town is also becoming an increasingly 

popular culinary destination, with the Southbank and Arts Centre buzzing with restaurants, bars and 

live entertainment. “Doing the block” is a well-known phrase for an exploration of the hidden lanes and 

alleyways around Bourke, Collins and Flinders streets, while Queen Victoria Market is a popular 

shopping spot that has been selling clothing, art, toys, crafts and vegetables for over a century.

Breakfast at hotel. Later start your day with half day Melbourne City Tour. 

This morning’s tour is packed with city sights and historical landmarks. Take a seat and enjoy the bustle 

of Melbourne’s city as your Driver Guide keeps you posted on what to look out for along the way. 

First you’ll tour through Melbourne’s city centre. Considered the shopping capital of Australia, the city 

and surrounding suburbs are home to modern shopping malls and boutique stores featuring worldclass 

brands and products. 

Next you can take a look at the imposing Parliament House. Construction of this enormous building 

commenced in 1855 and continued in stages until 1929. It is the largest 19th century building in 

Australia and is considered to be one of the finest examples of architecture from that period anywhere 

in the world. 

Now it’s time to stretch your legs and take a look around the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens. Set on 26 

hectares, these gardens were classified by the National Trust in 1974 and are highly valued for their 

historic and horticultural significance. Here you can visit the Conservatory for its incredible floral 

display, or the quaint Tudor Village. 

This tour will end at Federation Square, from where you can spend your rest of the day exploring the 

town by your own. 



Day 3: Holiday Inn Melbourne on Flinders, Melbourne (Sat, 10 September) 

Breakfast at hotel. Later proceed for Great Ocean Road Full Day Tour 

This 1 Day Great Ocean Road Day Tour is one of Melbourne’s most popular tours. On the spectacular 

Great Ocean Road Tour experience a breathtaking coastline with pristine beaches, rainforests and 

charming seaside towns and of course the 12 Apostles. 

Leaving Melbourne we head first to one of the Great Ocean Road's surf beaches, Urquhart Bluff, where 

we will have morning tea and watch some surfers catch waves at one of the Great Ocean Road’s famous 

surfing destinations. We visit the historic Memorial Arch to get our photo taken before passing through 

the quaint coastal resort towns of Lorne and Anglesea. 

Next on this 1 Day Great Ocean Road Tour we will take a guided walk through Maits Rest Rainforest. 

Located in the Otway Rainforest you will see some of the tallest Eucalyptus Trees in Australia. Twist and 

wind through Port Campbell National Park to undertake the 12 Apostles Tour where you have the 

chance to take a magical helicopter ride - it’s an opportunity not to be missed. 

Find yourself surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and take a walk along the beach at Loch Ard 

Gorge. View the Archway, The Razorback and Dumpling Pots. Hear the tragic tails of the Shipwreck 

Coast. Before departing the Shipwreck Coast take Gibson's Steps which are carved into the limstone 

cliff face to view the 12 Apostles from the Beach or check out the fallen London Bridge. 



Day 4: Mantra Legends Hotel, Gold Coast (Sun, 11 September) 

Breakfast at hotel and then check-out. There will be private transfer to Melbourne Airport for your flight 

to Gold Coast. 

Virgin Australia VA 745 will depart from Melbourne at 1410 Hrs and arrive Gold Coast at 1615 Hrs. 

Upon arrival meet with our representative who will assist you for your transfer to your hotel. 

Gold Coast

Day 8: Mantra Legends Hotel, Gold Coast (Thu, 15 September) 

Hot Air Balloon Gold Coast 

Hot Air Balloon Gold Coast take off every day for beautiful dawn balloon flights with a delicious 

Champagne breakfast at O'Reillys Vineyards. Watch the sun reflecting off the canals and waterways, 

shimmering off the Gold Coast’s most iconic beaches. Dream away in awe of the inspiring views, as you 

float peacefully past the lush Gold Coast Hinterland, a beauty that can only be truly appreciated from 

adrift in a hot air balloon. 



Day 9: 

Holiday Inn Darling Harbour, Sydney (Fri, 16 September) 

Breakfast at hotel and then check-out. There will be private transfer to Melbourne Airport for your flight 

to Sydney. 

Virgin Australia VA 524 will depart from Gold Coast at 1305 Hrs and arrive Sydney at 1435 Hrs. 

Upon arrival meet with our representative who will assist you for your transfer to your hotel. 

Sydney 

It’s safe to say some planning is required for a visit to a city this impressive, because no matter what 

you fancy – shopping, the arts, the outdoors – you’re likely to be bewildered by the scope of choice 

available here. First up, there are the must-sees – Sydney Opera House; Harbour Bridge; the Sydney 

Tower for its 360-degree views of the city; the waterside hubs of Darling Harbour and Circular Quay; 

and the Rocks district for shopping. After dark, the glitzy city comes alive with a ‘larger-than-life’ food 

and music scene that extends into the early hours. For more laid-back diversions, head down to the 

beach or hop on a ferry for an extensive tour of the Sydney Harbour, the Parramatta River and 

numerous locations lying waterside. 

The contemporary Holiday Inn Darling Harbour is located in Sydney's popular entertainment district. 

The contemporary Holiday Inn is a former 1890s wool store in the heart of Darling Harbour. You'll find 

them opposite the Qantas Credit Union Arena, close to the bustling Chinatown, Latin Quarter & Cockle 

Bay Wharf. You can travel around the city area on the local free bus or efficient Light Rail from the 

nearby stop at Paddy's Markets.

Day 10: 

Holiday Inn Darling Harbour, Sydney (Sat, 17 September) 

Breakfast at hotel. Later start your day with half day Sydney City Tour. 

The Ultimate Sydney Tour 

Drive around the historic Rocks precinct, visiting the first church in Australia, the Observatory and the 

convict built cottages, continuing around Circular Quay, the Opera House and into the magnificent 

Botanical Gardens. 

Take a short walk to view Mrs Macquarie’s chair and excellent harbor views to the Harbor Bridge and 

Opera House. Continue through Woolloomooloo, Kings Cross and into Rushcutters bay. Stop to enjoy a 

lunch at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, Australia’s premier yacht club and home to the Rolex 

Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. Continue on through Darling Point, one of Sydney’s affluent suburbs and 

see some of Sydney’s sought after addresses. Pass by Double Bay, Rose Bay, Vaucluse and Watsons Bay, 

before traversing along the coastline to Sydney’s famed Bondi Beach. Soak up the atmosphere of the 

beach side Mecca. Return to the city, via Oxford Street Paddington, arriving at Darling Harbor where the 

tour will conclude. 



Day 11: 

Holiday Inn Darling Harbour, Sydney (Sun, 18 September) 

Breakfast at hotel, after breakfast start a full day tour to Blue Mountains with Featherdale Wildlife Park. 

This is the only way to see the Blue Mountains! Part of a larger World Heritage listed area, the Blue 

Mountains are incredibly diverse with eucalypt forests, rainforests and swamps all encompassed within 

its bounds. Home to over 400 species of animals including koalas, kangaroos, possums and dingos, the 

Blue Mountains are comprised of sandstone bedrock with the highest point reaching a dizzying 1,362m 

(4,469ft)! 

For visitors, the Blue Mountains are a treasure trove of exciting and interesting things to see and do. On 

this tour, you will visit the most iconic sites in the Blue Mountains including the Three Sisters, 

Katoomba, Capertee Valley (known as Australia's Grand Canyon), Cahills lookout ,the exquisite 

manicured gardens of the Leura township and The Candy Store, home to over 2,000 different types of 

unique and unusual lollies, candies, chocolates, fudges, nougats, novelties and toffees gathered from all 

over the world. 

This 1 day tour includes a visit to the Featherdale Wildlife Park, where guests have the opportunity to 

cuddle a koala, feed and pet kangaroos and emus, and see a wide range of animals, many unique to 

Australia, including wombats, Tasmanian devils and dingos. 



Day 12: 

Holiday Inn Darling Harbour, Sydney (Mon, 19 September) 

Breakfast at hotel, full day is free at leisure. 

You can enjoy various activities that are available for tourists. You simply you can spend your time in 

one of the famous markets while shopping. 



Day 13: Departure (Tue, 20 September) 

Have an early (Or Packed) breakfast at the hotel and check-out, as you will be transferred to Sydney 

Airport for your flight Air India AI 301 which departs from Sydney at 0945 Hrs and you will reach India 

on 20 th Sep with fond memories of your tour to Australia.
