Neighbourhood Plan already in place/work in parallel with<br />
BID. Has helped move BID forward/engagement in place.<br />

57 days consultant time bought in to support<br />
development of BID.<br />
Levy to be 1.5% estimate to raise £300k per annum.<br />
RV Threshold TBC: either £5k or £7k.<br />
Overheads estimated at 20%.<br />
Costs covered by BID Loan fund.<br />
5 Widening the scope of involved participants<br />
Town Centre Major Stores Group, Key Stakeholders &<br />

Database to be produced with levy payers and feedback. MH<br />
6 Input from Stockport Council<br />
Rating information: Now provided. (NB prior to ballot up<br />
to date data will be used). To be worked up into a user<br />
friendly format to work with and gain statistics from.<br />
Officer support: Recent restructure and reduction in<br />
Council Place Directorate. New ‘Growth’ section. Officer<br />
support TBC. Request made to Stockport Council<br />
requiring clarification of Growth role in Town Centre.<br />
Baseline information: Arrangements for collection<br />
underway. On-going.<br />

7 Formalising BID agreement with Stockport Council<br />
Bid Funding: Council may offer funds. TBC subject to<br />
Executive meeting on 21 st July.<br />
Levy Collection: Council is required to collect. Cost will be<br />
passed onto the BID Company.<br />

8 On-going BID communication strategy with media, social<br />
networking and timeline for key milestone events during the<br />

More active promotion of BID commences. Press release<br />
now approved and circulated to Vision Stockport<br />

9 Business plan and spreadsheet for the BID<br />
TJ presented BID survey.<br />
Feedback from questionnaire obtained during the<br />
meeting :<br />
‣ Restructure the order of sections, so Community first<br />
then Business last.<br />
‣ Enhance car parking questions and offer solutions so<br />
they can be "scored".<br />
‣ Ask whether enquirers or individuals completing the<br />
questionnaire are business, visitors or retailers in the<br />
Town.<br />
‣ Circulate the questionnaire to attendees of the BID<br />
meeting for feedback and further enhancement.<br />
10 BID co-ordination office and communications centre for<br />
activities and initiatives<br />

issues paper<br />
11 Database Management of proposed levy payers' responses<br />
and queries during the process to build a picture of how the<br />
BID is being formulated and changing along the way<br />

attendees at launch wish to offer support. These are<br />
