Training on Behaviour Based Safety was conducted on 11 th & 12 h April 2016 by Mr K G Varadarajan. Training on English Language skills was conducted on 18 th & 19 th April 2016 by Ms Divya Seethapathy from L&T, Coimbatore. Training on TPM was conducted on 23 rd & 25t h April 2016 by Dr R Balakrishnan, Programme Director ABK-AOTS DOSOKAI National Technology Day 11th May 2016 Training on First Aid was conducted on 06 th May 2016 by Mr Ekambaram from St John Ambulance Association. Training on Defensive driving was conducted for our drivers on 09.04.2016 by Mr Vinod Kumar from Hubert Ebner India Pvt Ltd . A Webcast was organised by L&T Coimbatore Campus which included interesting speeches by Guests of honor Dr Nithyanandhan Devaraj, President & Director, Bradken India Pvt Ltd. He spoke on “Fuelling imagination through structure innovations”. and Dr Shantanu Bhowmik, Head Research & Projects, Amrita University on “Overview on material technology in respect on Nuclear, Energy Saving & Construction”. Earlier the Key note address was delivered by Dr Hasit Joshjipura, Member EMC & Head Corporate Centre. Mr V Krishnamoorthy completed a course on “Preparatory Programme on PMP Certification” conducted by L&T Institute of Project Management (30th May to 3rd June 2016) at Chennai. To demonstrate our commitment to Ethical voting our, Employees are taking oath on 10.05.2016 before the Assembly Elections scheduled on 16.05.2016 Mr Krishnamoorthy is receiving the Certificate from Mr Jayavel Murugan. The function W started with L&T Anthem. Mr S Kalyana Raman welcomed the gathering followed by Mr J Jayavel Murugan who introduced the Chief guest Mr P Kailas, Managing Director Toshiba Machines (Chennai) Pvt Ltd and special guest Mr S Arul, Chief Executive L&T Kobelco Machinery Pvt Ltd. Mr S Srinivasan our General Manager and Head and spoke on the Theme of WED which is “GO WILD FOR LIFE“. Mr P Kailas our Chief Guest and Mr S Arul our special Guest addressed the gathering. Mr K Kumaravel Union office bearer also shared his part on the theme. The function ended with Vote of thanks by Mr K NagarajaKumar, Head HR, SC SR & Improvement Initiatives. It was followed by Tree planting by the dignitaries and other Employees.
